Overpriced, gimmicky disappointment

This meal was terrible. The only worthwhile part was the cheese fondue at the beginning, but the rest was - literally - a waste of time. We purchased the Groupon coupon for the "Freak" fondue dinner. So apparently did 10,000 others. Had trouble making a reservation---staff however was greatly accommodating in getting us a table. Most of the restaurant now consists of out door "terraces"--poorly decorated and appointed rooms. Main restaurant is very small and dark. If this is suppose to be romantic or and adult... More

We went at 10:30pm for their dessert only Chocolate Fondue. There were four of us. The quality of the chocolate and the choices of what we had to dip were very good and our waiter was great. The disappointment was the presentation and the quantity of food provided. The waiter served a nice selection of items to be dipped piled... More

Always fun to visit. Fondue and salads are great. Don't order the combo, it's way too much food and you won't have room for chocolate fondue, which is a must have! It's pricey but good for a treat.

We were taken here by friends who have recently relocated to California. Wasn't sure what to expect but was really impressed by the quality of the food, the service and the atmosphere. Can't comment on the pricing as we were treated. We had the wild mushroom cheese fondue to start which was delicious. Then moved onto the meats with the... More

This is my all time favorite restaurant ever!! I love the ambiance, the food selections, the offerings, and the staff! It creates a great culture of conversation! I could go on and on. This is a MUST try place! Way better than The Melting Pot!

This dining experience is meant to be savored. It is a lengthy process. That said, the ambience is lovely. The fondue is excellent. The only complaint I had was that the lighting is quite dim. When cooking meats over a grill, it was difficult to see if the meat was completely cooked because of inadequate light. I guess one could... More

We love coming to this place for 17 years and Thursday's dinner was no different. The server was so excellent and listened about the portions we wanted for the stinking rose cheese part and how much garlic we wanted in there. It was perfect. We will keep coming here as the food is so yummy, the service is awesome, and... More

We love fondue, so this should be a slam dunk - but there are caveats. - Between the multiple courses and the time involved in each one, this meal can easily stretch out to more than 2 hours! - The pricing reinforces the 'special occasion' impression - hard to justify on a regular basis. On the other hand, the quality... More
