The Plumed Horse continues to exceed my expectations. It is truly one of the finest dining experiences in all of the West Coast. Service is impeccable. The atmosphere is elegant yet casual. The wine list is huge with great wines at reasonable prices. Ask for that special bottle you've been wanting to try. Even though it isn't on their iPad... More

My husband and I went here for a belated birthday dinner. This is a great place. The service is top notch. I had the Black pepper and Parmesan soufflé with uni and crab, and sea bass. The soufflé is to die for. This was one of the best dish I ever had. My husband had mushroom risotto with black truffle.... More

The options inside the tasting menu are not included in the price. They even charge you for the truffles if you say yes to have it sprinkled on your dish. I would rather they tell you first. I have never seen a tasting menu bill has so much additional charges on options. What a trick! I will not go back.

If price doesn't bother you, you will be dazzled with the incredibly fresh architecture, overwhelmingly beautiful wine vault, service and food. Plan on spending for extras like great champagne by the glass and over the top appetizers. You won't be disappointed.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at The Plumed Horse and it was a marvelous experience. We chose the tasting menu with the wine pairing. First the restaurant. The decor is understated with very clean lines. It's modern with light colored woods and white linens. We were seated immediately in a room with approx. 10 tables total. The restrooms were very... My husband and I had REALLY enjoyed the Plumed Horse a few years back so we decided to go there again for a birthday present to each other. Hubby had the tasting menu + wine pairings and I had the Rib eye, but still got to taste everything he got. Good thing because my entree didn't show up til the... More

What a special place. We went last night night for my wife's birthday and experienced one of the finest dining experiences we have ever enjoyed. Wonderful service from Joseph and all the other staff. Food was perfect! We really loved the new decor and set up. Expensive but well worth it for that very special event. We will be back... More

The service is attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is very nice. The wines are excellent; though in the wine pairing with the tasting menu, they do not match the foods well. The food is beautifully presented. In the tasting menu, the souffle is probably going to be the best thing I will eat this year. The lamb was much... More

Was out with a group and a senior manager and myself were not thrilled with the group setting and food, so on the way back to our hotel I suggested The Plumed Horse. I had been here once before but this was even better than I had remembered. We shared a half-bottle of Pinot from the amazing 18,000 bottle selection... More
