Ate at Jeremy's per many recommendations that the owner/ chef is top notch and the chef rewarded. (Olympic lingo) Use Yelp to get the free steamed brussel sprouts; we were given a dessert, creme brulee, in lieu but so many people rave about the sprouts and use them to cater at other venues, it should be noted early as something... Heading to Palm Desert we opted out of lunch in Julian (way too busy) and by accident found Jeremy's. Butternut Squash soup was colorful, flavorful and delicious. A minor criticism on the Caesar salad would have been more parmesan cheese. Also ordered the Pork Schnitzel with sweet/sour cabbage. Ordered the Garlic Herb fries on a whim and they are delicious,... The food seemed quite nice and of good quality, but it was surprising to find a place that had so little in the way of non-meat options (this is in California in the 2010s??). The menu is very much oriented towards beef, lamb, bison, and pork. When we got there at 6 PM they said they'd already sold out of... More

Dining at Jeremy's always feels as though I'm invited inside someone's home for an unpretentious, yet gourmet quality meal. It feels like a quaint farmhouse in the French countryside. Paul Bocuse comes to mind. The cuisine is consistently top notch, the local fresh ingredients make the difference and the waitstaff and service are genuinely impeccable. Worth driving a thousand miles... More

We were staying overnight in Julian and had heard about this place. Having been told it was rather good, we decided to head down the hill a short bit to try it out. We were pleased with the ambiance and the meal. However, the food was a little too spicy for our taste. I had the tri tip and my... More

The garlic fries were good. But if you order the bison burger, be warned, it is cooked rare and they did not let me know that. We had great service.

I started with a nice salad with apples, nuts and gorgonzola and although it was over-dressed it was fresh and tasty. For the main course I ordered the mahi-mahi and it was a mistake. The fish was cooked properly but it wasn't a nice piece; dark grey fishy tasting meat along the bottom of the fillet. It was served on... More

Who would every think the little brussel sprout could taste so fine. We were told about this restaurant by many people in the area and in Ramona where we staying. The white linen table cloth, many glasses, and atmosphere let you know this was a fine dining experience to behold. Our meals consisted of a plate of Mussels (very large... More

We went on a hiking trail in a Volcan mountain wilderness preserve and met very nice couple, Janet and Eric, who recommended us to go to Jeremy's on the Hill for lunch. We are very grateful for their advice that we followed on the same day, as the hike boosted our appetite and we stayed next door to the restaurant... More

The service was excellent and the food was great. Probably the most romantic place in Julian. The prices were not bad, considering it was a fancy eatery.
