Fresh ingredients, homemade pasta

The restaurant is charming, staff attentive and the dishes were wonderful. I ordered the spinach ravioli and it was amazing - wonderful fresh sauce and homemade pasta. We were staying in Solvang but were referred to this restaurant for great pasta before the race. We made a rsvp, it was a little chilly outside so we waited a bit for an inside table. tell them when you reserve which you would rather have. Very nice comfortable restaurant. The house wine was really good, and the pinot grigio... More

I have been dining at Grappolo's for many many years! I have never had a bad meal there and frankly all have been quite delicious. I send friends and family there and they are also impressed. Beware because the Rollino Veneto will become your new addction!

TG was recommended by our local host & were delighted to dine here on a busy Friday night. It's located towards the end of the main drag in old downtown Santa Ynez, w/ plenty of parking. It was a boisterous lively crowd, covering the gamut of Santa Barbara socialites to old time local ranchers & their families. Nice ambiance w/... More

Have bad several meals at this restaurant and they have all been great. Probably one if the best Italian eateries in Southern Cal.if I had a complaint or issue, it would be the wine list. High end over priced Cal. Wines, little in the way of imports especially Italian or French. They need some modestly priced house wines, pay $30+... More

We're return customers and could not wait to come back. We like to be seated at kitchen bar to watch all the action. Both nights all the different dishes were outstanding. Service was top notch. Great little town.

The Branzino, which was a special this day, was absolutely outstanding! Moist and very flavorful. We always love coming to this little gem of a restaurant!

Grappolo is on our short list whenever we come to the area. In 7 years of visits, we've honeatly never had a bad meal. Last night I had the salmon special and the hub had the veal of the day. My salmon was exquisite, even though it was farmed. The sides were roasted potatoes and cooked carrots and spinach. Lots... More

At the recommendation of the front desk at the nearby Marriott in Buellton, my husband and I took the short, lovely drive to Santa Ynez for an early dinner at this Italian restaurant, and we were not disappointed. Our meal was delicious as well as plentiful. We shared the fresh bruschetta, which could almost be a meal in itself, lentil... More

Our meals at Grappolo were good rather than great, but the lively atmosphere and the friendly staff combined to make a very enjoyable night out. On a chilly mid-week night, the inside area was packed with a noisy crowd. Waiters were flying between tables. We were immediately seated at our (booked) table, and provided menus. Our initial drinks order came... More
