When on a sunny SoCal afternoon to take a break from wine tasting and fill up on the Burger Barn's juicy burgers. I had their basic cheeseburgers and my friend the brisket sandwiches. All of us left quite satisfied and I enjoyed the local selection of beers as well. Outdoor seating, and great service, a nice relaxing lunch - Life... More

What a great little restaurant. Hidden off the main road, it's worth searching for. We had breakfast two consecutive days. We tried steak and eggs, ham slice and eggs, hash and eggs, and a custom omelet. All fantastic. Couple this with a large private patio with umbrellas and you have the perfect morning. I understand lunch is supposed to be... More

As we were driving to Morro Bay, we stopped here for lunch on a Tuesday - not busy at all. We chose to sit on the "patio" which was once a street or parking lot next to the "Barn". We ordered Bacon Cheese Burger ($8) and Caesar Salad ($8). It was delivered to our table quickly!

From the outside you hardly notice it as it is a bit tucked away. It's in the middle of the tiny township of Santa Ynez. But the food, breakfast and lunch are great. Not gourmet, but just great sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, salads, breakfasts etc. It could use a bit of updating on the inside, but in away, the old-fashioned... More

We have frequented Burger Barn several times in the past years. Yesterday we went back for another outstanding performance; HOWEVER, it was TERRIBLE. We went there for breakfast and our waitress watched TV and drank our coffee while our food was waiting to be delivered. My eggs, bacon, and toast were luke warm - I mentioned this to her -... More

Cal-mex specialties. Huevos Rancheros through eggs Benedict. Outdoor seating at umbrella tables on terrace if you want it. Lovely staff. Fine coffee. Inexpensive and gooood.

If it is a beautiful day in SYV, this little restaurant is a good alternative if you are looking for a casual meal. I have found the burgers, of any kind, to be very good. Well seasoned and cooked just right. However, I think the Patty Melts are exceptional. The Rye bread, taste like Rye, is perfectly grilled as are... More

Nice for lunch. Indoor and outdoor sitting. Especially recommend the Cobb salad - large and tasty - along with the sweet potato fries.

My parents had been here before and really enjoyed it. Its just an average place. Nothing too special. I had the steak sandwich which had a lot of fat. My husband had a burger that was tiny. My daughter had a blt that was expensive for what it was. Nothing was bad but it just was an average meal.

We go here often, which for us is once or twice a month. Since we live a couple of blocks away it is extremely convenient. Breakfast is great. Traditional breakfast fare (omelets, pancakes and the like). Lunch is burgers and sandwiches that have always been worth the trip. The sign is on the side of the building, which makes it easy... More
