There is really nothing to this brew pub. It is all hype, so many other CA beers rated so much higher. The two times I have been there I felt like we patrons were all being sold a bill of goods that is so over priced and so over hyped. I felt gullible just being there. Beer is good but... More

This was my first time visiting the Russian River Brewing Company and had heard great things about it. However, I was not impressed with the wait staff. To their credit, it was a very crowded Veterans Day crowd for lunch. We got to the Hostess station and waited about 5 minutes before a lady whom I only guessed was in... More

First, you have to wait in the line for a while to get in. When you are in, the hostess suggest you either to wait couple of hours for free table or take care of yourself !!! Of cause you wouldn't expect to wait for your beer or/and food for 2 hours, so you'd prefer get to the bar and... More

We wnt here for dinner after our first wine tour and the place was packed. we had to wait about an hour, but they called us on our mobile and seated us as soon as we got back. Location is downtown, so there were many places to go in the meantime. (We spent most of it in the Barnes and... More

Go to STOUT Brothers instead. Great service. I was to meet two friends at 6:00, for a beer. Arrived promptly, at the back door. Was "greeted" with, no one is allowed in. I'm female, I can see my friends, and he was adamant that I could not even run in to tell them the situation. They had just arrived too,... More

Great place to have Beer and Pizza great selection including the rare sale of Plini the Younger ale which has caused people to line up around the block to get a glass of this legendary ale. It can be crowded and getting a table or a place at the bar can be difficult with having to wait for and open... More

Loud rowdy environment. Good music, great people watching. Good pizza bites and other pub foods. Not relaxing, not good for children. Average prices. If you love beer you need to go.

I had to visit Russian River Brewing during my two day wine tour of Sonoma, and my wife and I were glad we did. Their famous double IPA, Pliny the Elder, was the obvious choice of beverage (though it wasnt that easy of a choice, they have about 15 selections). The Pliny was as advertised.....Amazing! But the food was really... More

We have been here often and the food here is excellent, but the reason to go is the fabulous beer. They change regularly, with some stalwarts always on tap. When Pliny the Younger is released each year for a limited run, lines form around the block for weeks, and entice people from other countries to try it!

Great place to enjoy some outstanding beer selection ...the only problem is that on weekends the lines are long and the wait can be frustrating...but the beer is definitely worth it. I also like the charcuterie plate....can be very noisy and tumultuous...
