Great Beer

I'm a wine guy, but enjoy the occasional brew. Russian River is one of the best in terms of beer. I would give it 5 stars except for the fact that every time that I have visited it is packed and almost impossible to find a seat. Plus the fact that they run out of their most popular beers... read more

My wife and I travel two hours to have the beer from Russian River Brewing. I drink the Pliny the Elder, but all of their beer is so good. Their Belgium sours are some of the best that I've tried. The servers are always very nice and knowledgeable.

Four of us stopped in for a cool drink and a bite and were glad we did. The place was full for a weekday and the service was great. We had only small snacks, but I bet the real food is good too.

My husband and I went there with my brother and sister-in-law while we were in town. We decided on Russian River after much debate. We put our name in and had about an hour or so to kill and went to the mall down the street. After our time came up, we were quickly seated in the back, near the... More

Twice we've come to Santa Rosa and tried to visit Russian River Brewing and both times the wait to even get in was ridiculously long. This last time the line was a half block long. (See the pic). Ugh. We never got it in. Two strikes you are out. Too many other places with good beer to put up with... More

Great beer. It had several outstanding beers along with wings. I ordered medium spiciness for the benefit of my family. (I like spicy wings.) The server warned me that the medium wings were still how. Short story: I loved them but my wife could not eat them. Kudos to the server for the warning.

This place is an icon to beer drinkers! Considered by many to brew the best IPA in the nation this brewery is a must see while in wine country. The likelihood is that you will find the half-block long bar crowded, and the tables packed regardless of the time of your visit. For first timers a beer sampler is recommended.... More

This is a brew pub in the truest sense of the word. Noisy! Crowded! And more beer than you can shake a stick at. My husband drinks beer occasionally, and so do I but neither of us want to drink a glass of honey-nut-wheat-germ-cinnamon-maple-porter!!!! The food wasn't all that great either. We had one of their pizzas, which was thin... More

Very crowded but a really excellent beer experience in Downtown Santa Rosa! We had to wait in the line (which was longer before we left) and show our IDs (a must) to get in ... but in the end we found a nice bench to sit and enjoy our excellent Russian River Beer and chat.

This is a BIG brew pub but despite this it's very busy. Even on a Tuesday afternoon we had a 45 min wait. Get your name down asap and then head down the street for a wonder around the very cute shops. The beer flight is fab. 20 beers for $16. Service was swift and the servers knew there beer.... More
