This is my holy place. I make regular trips from socal with others who appreciate beer and its always the best - from Pliny to the aged sours and Vinni's (brewer/owner) experiments - I've never had a beer I did not like here. The food is good, more a lunch place, but really, who just comes for food?

We got there on a Tuesday night at 10:30pm and still had to wait for a table! That speaks to the popularity of this place. The atmosphere is really raucous and loud --- fitting for a brewpub. We tried some of the "bites" - basically a deconstructed pizza. Marinara sauce was great. The beers are of course the highlight. Probably... More

We were really excited to stop in here. Maybe we hit the place on a bad day, but we had a terrible experience. For the first time ever, we considered leaving no tip....it was that bad. The food was middle of the road. The beer was great. We won't be returning, but it is clear that the beer is the... More

People stand in line overnight for Pliney the Younger and their Pliney the Elder is the gold standard of double IPAs. This guys not gonna stand in line overnight for any beer, but this is definitely worth the trip. Food options include pizza and sandwiches for about $10-15. Food is average to pretty good.

If you're in Northern California, don't pass up a chance to try some of the best craft beer in the world at Santa Rosa's Russian River Brewing Company. Ideally located downtown, RRBC is less than an hour from San Francisco and right in the heart of Wine Country. For lovers of intense hops, plan a trip soon. The unmatched Pliny... More

Go early if you want to find a seat! My husband loves beer, so we did drive out of our way to visit this taproom. We arrived at 4:30pm on a Thursday and the place was packed! Our friends told us to get there early and I'm glad we did because immediately after we were seated it filled up. This... More

Russian River Brewing is top of the class. The infamous Pliny the Elder and some of the best sours I've ever had. Tip: Order the sampler. You get to try every beer on tap for $16. Met some great people and drank some world class brews.

This is just the most fun brewing company in Sonoma Cnty. Food is good. Always puts a smile on my face. And then there is Pliny The Younger!!!!! I only waited in line for 2 hours on my birthday. What a treat.
