I think you need to take reviews in restaurants in Northern California by locals in context (since I was a local for a long time). There is so much quality food there and knowledge about good food, the people are not patient with average food or service. I went there to celebrate my 35th wedding anniversary. We were seated immediately... More

Wanted to try this for some time. I had the Shrimp Scampi and my wife had the cobb salad. They were both very good. The shrimp was excellent and there were a lot. The spaghetti was very good but not special. I expected more of a garlic hit but it was on the bread and really good, but the spaghetti... More

Went to this restaurant because of Guy on Diner's, drive-ins and dives. The caesar salad was good with dressing that was not overpowering. The burger basher burger was fantastic and was so high I ate it with a knife and fork. The garlic fries were not very good because the salt and garlic was too strong and unevenly distributed. My... My GF and I drove from Eureka, CA to Santa Rosa just to go to our favorite Food Network host's restaurant. We were not disappointed. The service was great and so was the food. It was also cool to look at all of the autographed plates (by different celebrities) hanging around the walls. We hope to stop here again next... More

We enjoy watching Guy Fieri on Food Network, but his "signature" restaurant was just okay. Food was good but unremarkable. Our waitress was friendly and competent, but I overheard a waiter complaining about one of his customers. Inappropriate! That occurred while I was waiting to use the men's room. A "one-holer" isn't enough for this size establishment. I'll continue to... More

We were excited to give this place a try. Needless to say, I expected more. My wife had one of Guy's signature pasta dishes. It was off the hook…at least that is what the waiter said. It was, that was the best part. I had the Buffalo Meatloaf sandwich. They were a little heavy handed with the Italian Sausage so... More

While traveling through Santa Rosa we were lucky enough to catch a lunch at Johnny Garlic's! As fans of Guy from TV it was nice to enjoy a meal at one of his local spots. Wife had Ahi tacos and I had Cajun Pasta and both were flavorfull as seen on TV! Highly recommend the stop if traveling in the... More

The food is good here, but not top chef good, and the prices are high. There is little ambiance to the place. The waitstaff are always efficient and friendly. If you want to come here just to say you ate at Guy's place, then you will be satisfied. But there are several other Italian oriented restaurants that will provide a... More
