Description: Sazon is Spanish for "seasoning" and synonymous with incredible Peruvian cuisine! We combine family recipes with great service for amazing dining. Peruvian cuisine is a reflection of Peru's diverse geography, immigrant cultures, and even pre-Inca recipes! With a truly unique fusion of cultures, you'll taste dishes with hints of Spanish, African, Italian, and even Asian cuisines. At Sazon, our family serves authentic Peruvian recipes passed down by our great-grandmother, Maria Olinda, who herself boasted Peruvian, African, Spanish, and Italian ancestry! We invite you to share one of our unforgettable Ceviches with a co-worker at lunch; with 7 to choose from including a classic Ceviche Mango or the Ahi Ceviche Nikei with ahi tuna, you're sure to escape your workday stresses. Or bring loved ones for dinner to indulge in the amazing Pollo a la Brasa, free-range chicken marinated with a house blend of traditional Peruvian spices! Whether you're joining us for lunch or dinner, with friends or family, we invite you to savor the unique Peruvian flavors at Sazon!

On a recent visit, we were seated right by the front door which was cold and drafty. The owner, however, moved us as soon as a table became available. This underscores that this place is very very small and you should probably request a table away from the door if you want peace and quiet and a draft free dining... More

While I'm happy you enjoyed our customer service and the ceviche, I'm definitely disappointed that the rest of the food you ordered didn't live up to your expectations. I know we're capable of providing much better, so I do hope you'll give us another try to prove to you what we're really capable of! Hope to see you back again,... More

I can't say I'm a connoisseur of Peruvian, but I really loved my meal, a lot here I'd like to try and I'll definitely be back for another trip while I'm here.

Have heard that all for a few years, finally went last night and sampled quite a bit on the menu. Delicious, service was impeccable, for a busy New Year's Eve. Small tight place, but very friendly, family owned. We had ahi tuna Ceviche, empanadas, as few other goodies (can't remember the names). Seafood Paella, so fresh . Then deserts. Yummy... More

This is a small local restaurant for us and we eat here often. The food is excellent, fresh and innovative. I often bring out of town guests here too. The cerviche's are superb and the Lomo Saltado my spouses favoite! I like the Aji Galina. Go here and eat - you will be happy you did!

Quaint and small, Sazon has creative, flavorful food with gracious service. The ceviche choices can be a meal in itself, but don't leave without trying the beef heart, grilled over an open flame with native sauces to dip in. I believe in trying new things, especially when culturally it is the dish of choice. Very rarely am I disappointed. Make... More

The food is delicious! 7 of us celebrated a birthday there Saturday night. It is small and 'cozy', the staff was friendly and helpful. We had great appetizer tasting, and an array of ceviche, yum. People had everything from chicken, seafood to lomo. Try a pisco sour, lots of lime and frothy egg whites. I enjoyed the fried banana with... More

I have been here five times! Each time with family or friends. All of us agree that this food is full of flavor, variety, and well prepared. The owner was our server and his advice on the dishes steered us again to a most delicious experience!!! Each visit I have tried a different dish and been very satisfied...

Tasty, tangy, spicy, and awesome describes everything the four of us ordered. The menu was large and unusual to us local gringos, but slowly we got our orders together, from a bottle of Cava, to appetizers, main dishes, then a dessert. The Giants were playing a league final game on TV, so the energy was especially high this night, but... More

Having just returned from Peru recently I was excited to find there was a Peruvian restaurant in my home town. A well traveled friend and I went there recently for lunch and were generally favorably impressed One caveat: most of the ceviche was made with tilapia, a farmed freshwater fish. We are very near the ocean here and i think... More

This was my very 1st time trying Peruvian food and liked it. Started off with the trio of emapanadas of 3 different types of meat. Followed by a lomo saltado, what appears to be a stir-fried beef with balsamic and soy sauce. Loved the combination of the sweet and sour from the balsamic and the saltiness from the soy sauce....
