We highly recommend Sazon Peruvian Cuisine (1129 Sebastopol Rd., Santa Rosa, CA 95407, tel. 707-523-4346, www.sazonsr.com). Michele was a very good server and Juan José a very good host. We had a delicious and authentic Peruvian meal. We started with Ahi Ceviche Nikei ($14) described as ahi tuna, soy, ponzu, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, huancatay, sesame seeds, sesame oil, avocado and... More

We went to Sazon on a recent vacation to California and were very impressed. It does not look like much from the outside and is not in a trendy part of town but man was it good! The place is very small but the staff was friendly and efficient. We had the Adobo de Chancho and the Pescado a lo... More

So I've been to Sazon twice now and I wish I didn't live so far away! I've gotten the same dish both times ... the beef with the rice and french fries. It's absolutely delicious and it's probably a good thing that I don't live closer! I'm not typically such a meat and potatoes type of eater, but this is... More

Sazon again lived up to our expectations..our reserved table was ready for us although there was a long line waiting for the small number of tables, The Choros al Vapor (mussels) were the best I have ever had. My wifes' chicken was a little dry but our friends had salmon and Arroz con pollo and loved them. Ceviche and other... More

Having Peruvian family members, we've learned to appreciate the delicious and full of flavor & aroma meals. Dining at Sazon was a fantastic overall experience, from meeting the owner Don Juan Navarro, all the way to the cook and staff, very amiable individuals. The food, oh my, we tasted everything : CEVICHE MIXTO, CHORITOS a la CHALACA [ green mussels... More

We spent some time in Chile and were looking forward another good meal. We were not disappointed. The Pisco Sours were tasty. My pork was good and the only thing missing was an egg on the French fries ( didn't miss it really). Highly recommend it.

We had a most enjoyable and delicious dinner at Sazon this evening. Warm welcome on our first night in Santa Rosa. the most delicious selection of Ceviche I have ever had and my wife (even more of a foodie than me) agreed. My son (19) chose Chicken with Fettuccine and devoured it -Pronouncing it excellent. My wife had won ton... More

My daughter has a good friend from Peru and has spent time there. She asked us to eat here. The place is small. The food is very good. Service was quick. My daughter made several recommendations as did the server. I enjoyed my dinner. I would come again

We are great fans of peruvian food and through the years we have tried many peruvian restaurants, in California and abroad. Sazon is one of the best! We were there for dinner and came back for lunch the next day! My husband thinks that it is the best Aji de Gallina he's ever had! And the seviche was out of... More

We have wanted to try this place since it opened, and we finally went there for lunch one Saturday afternoon. It's a very small place in the Roseland section of Santa Rosa. When we went there were very few customers, but mid-afternoon on a Saturday is not a busy time. The place only seats a handful of people anyway. We... More
