Visiting friends in Sonoma and were taken and treated to a breakfast dining experience like those of the East Coast many years ago. The setting is just plain warm, unpretentious and accessible. Attached to a neighborhood rustic hotel, Jeffrey's offers a menu of unique favorites but also special eats. Corned beef hash was a wow along with Joes Special omelette... More

From the outside we thought that this café/restaurant was going to be quiet. Not at all, it turned out to be busy, not only with hoteliers staying at the adjoining Hillside Inn but clearly local and passing trade. Nice welcome, clear explanation of breakfasts on offer and copious amounts of ice water and a really well made coffee. The breakfast... More

Was there last Thursday. The food was good and generous. The service left something to be desired. Waitresses stood around talking while we waited to place our order. Got no refill on ice tea ( $2.75 for 1 glass). Had to ask for a box for left overs. Not enough containers for salsa to go (said it was enough). Not... More

I love this little place. Service is usually speedy, food is fresh and hot, and the vegetable hash with poached eggs is my go-to item!

Went two weekends in a row. Ordered the same dish. Biscuits and gravy. Scrambled. Country potatoes. Two weeks ago it was the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. The week after it was the worse. No flavor, greasy and tasted oily. Will still go back but will not order this dish again.

We stopped for lunch and were impressed with large size servings and the reasonable price point. And everything tasted fresh and delish. Service was also very good, and the location is fine for touristing in Santa Rosa. I would be a regular here if I lived in the area. If you have the chance, check this place out.

Jeffrey's lived up to it's Trip Advisor ratings. I had the Lamb hash and it was outstanding; my wife had the vegetable hash and it was also excellent. And the quantities were very filling. You won't need lunch if you eat breakfast here.

I'm a regular and I usually sit out on the patio if weather permits. I've never had a bad meal or service. I always get extra crispy bacon and hashbrowns, perfect every time! The only down fall is when it's packed, but its well worth the wait!

This little cafe attracts a lot of locals so there may be a wait. I like fresh and local foods, this cafe did not disappoint.

We were looking for a really good breakfast place and now can stop looking. Fresh local ingredients and fair to large portions equal satisfaction. Not a lot of added salt for the health conscious with non - meat options as well. Be prepared to wait on the weekend (not a big place) but get right in during the week.
