Great Breakfasts with a Taste of Food Adventure!

Dierk's took over the old Parkside Cafe during the revitalization of "close" Santa Rosa Avenue, that is, North of the Hwy 12 overpass. They create wonderful, meaty and eggy breakfasts, "home cooking" or "comfort food" would be apt, but they go a step further in their culinary creativity... read more

Food good, service good, just not what we expected in atmosphere. Not anything special interior - looks out on busy street. With so many other choices to combine food and local, name is a little misleading.

We had the Dierk burger and it was first rate. Delicious! The service was quick and friendly. This is a great choice for lunch downtown.

If you are a Foodie this is all you. The grandmas pull apart fried dough is a kids dream. The Louisiana Hash has a hot flare with perfectly sautéed mushrooms, bacon, potatoes and jalapeños. The Duck was done to a "t" and highly recommend for any Foodie. The helpings are huge and if you leave hungry there is something wrong!... More

If you are looking for an excellent way to start your day of wine tasting than nothing is better than a home cooking plate of delicious food. Traditional and eclectic at the same time the menu has something for everyone. The place is small, the service and food excellent so get there early or prepare for a short wait.

Hubbie and I enjoyed a mid morning breakfast on a Monday. The order for a shared traditional benedict (not on the menu, no problem) was served already split, and with a smile. It was tasty as was the sausage. Perfect amount of attention from our friendly server. Cafe is in an old house, appareantly, with some outside seating and informal... More

The benedict is to die for! Any of the scrambles and the baked goods are fantastic too. Whatever you are in the mood for - brunch, breakfast or lunch, you can find something unique on the menu that will keep you coming back to try more. I love this place and there is another one on upper fourth street that... More

Having had some mediocre breakfasts in town, it was nice to come to Dierks and get a solid meal. The menu is pretty basic, but the food is prepared perfectly and the service is solid. The chicken fried chicken was great (I would ask for the gravy on the side next time, but that is me) and the omelettes also... More

We drove 20 minutes this morning for brunch after reading the reviews about this place. It lived up to them- food was great as well as great value. We shared the pullapart while we waited and it was like a doughnut and a funnel cake had a baby, so good. Everyone loved the hash browns and eggs were all perfectly... More

This is an excellent breakfast spot but it gets really busy. The atmosphere is really laid back. You won't be disappointed by anything on the menu. I ordered the yogurt parfait and it was excellent. When has a yogurt parfait ever been that good?I have had other items on the menu as well and they all have been very delicious.... More
