Best Breakfast in Town

Exceptional food and fantastic service. When we want to go out to breakfast our lunch, this is definitely our first choice. The scrambles are delicious, fresh, and enough for two people.

We got a late start to beat the crowd, but, even in an off time, the Parkside was hopping busy. For good reason! The coffee was excellent (always a good sign) and the menu full of standards and more elaborate preparations. My wife had the smoked salmon hash, which was intensely flavorful due to the excellent smoked salmon. I had... More

My fiance and I were looking for a good place to have an early breakfast before we hit the winery circuit. Dierk's was the PERFECT spot. Great food, fantastic service and friendly people all around. This was our first time to this restaurant but we will definitely be back next time we are in the area. I would suggest this... More

We were coming home from a wine getaway weekend and found Parkside Cafe on Tripadvisor. the food was awesome! Great breakfast menu and well worth the stop. Friendly staff. They have a signature doughnut and when we said it was our first time there, the waitress said "no charge", enjoy! Busy place, but we didn't have to wait long. Not... More

Was out and about this morning and based on reviews here I thought I'd give this place a shot. Absolutely the best breakfast I've had since I moved to Santa Rosa. Small simple diner. Nothing fancy. Typical diner lunch food. But done exceedingly well. I ordered my usual diner breakfast: chicken fried steak with gravy, soft scrambled eggs and hash... More

A very popular breakfast spot on Santa Rosa Avenue but I still have no idea why after two visits. The restaurant is very homey but we found the food to be very ordinary and the hash browns to be too salty both times we ate there. I won't try it again but they must be doing something right to attract... More

Absolutely loved Dierks Parkside Cafe - a warning - Dierks is not on any signs that we could see; just Parkside Cafe. My husband had the Friday morning Joes, and I had the Sonoma Duck Confit. This is gourmet breakfast without the fussiness or the prices. It's a smaller diner, nothing fancy and it was a little chilly so the... More

This restaurant is busy but there is a good reason for it. The food is great. There is plenty of it and the service is prompt. The place is busy but we were seated right away and the coffee was there practically before we were seated. The menu is extensive and everyone in our group was satisfied with the selection.... More

I was from out of town, and my daughter brought me here for breakfast. There was a line waiting to get in which is a good sign! Small little parking lot so we parked a few blocks down and walked. LOVED Dierk’s Corn-beef Hash: grilled corn beef, cheese Hash browns and eggs. YUM! and a mimosa. Enough said.

Even before the food there is the owner and the staff, who are all very friendly and efficient. The owner, Mark, is an exceptional human being, so if he is in, say hello. Breakfast and lunch are served hot and semi fast. A great way to start the day if you live in Santa Rosa of if you are visiting... More
