Walk from La Rose Hotel & stay at the bar.

Small, boutique eatery, but the best part was the bar. Unbelievable selection, and the barman knew his stuff. I love, but rarely indulge in, single malt scotch. Couldn't name a single brand, but told him the taste I liked, and WOW did he come through with his recommendation! Supurb whiskey... read more

Jack and Tony's is a whiskey bar. Now, we are not whiskey people, but in researching where we might dine during our Santa Rosa visit - the menu looked interesting. (But, most certainly, if you wanted a fantastic "Flight of Whiskey" you will certainly find the best there.) We had the bacon wrapped scallops....ummmm. they were wonderful - on a... More

Been going here for a few years while on vacation. It was one of our favorite places so we brought a friend that we had been raving about it too. This year it had changed. We sat at the bar and had to ask for menus and drinks. The bartender never said one word to us. He never asked if... More

Cool whiskey bar with great food and whiskey selection. Lafroiag Quater Cask was on whiskey flights- cannot get better than that! Scallops and Sea Bass was great. Service was off the charts friendly and our server was super attentive and funny! Had a fantastic time!!

Stopped in here for a late dinner. Ate at the bar, and chose from the bar menu. The shrimp po boy was fantastic, but found it to be a little small. They have a HUGE scotch collection, and the bartenders know what they're talking about to help with recommendations.

We had the most incredible service. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, drinks, etc. He magically appeared just at the right moment. Not intrusive. The drinks were divine. The food is good. I had a steak which I shared with my hubby ( I rarely eat red meat, so its a real treat and I only eat about two... More

We had a fairly large group of 8 but the service was perfect. I highly recommend the mushroom soup (which is not a cream soup) and we all left wishing we could get the recipe. The food was fantastic and we will definitely visit here again, the next time we're in the neighborhood.

Stopped here for an after dinner drink. The place has a huge selection of scotches, bourbons, Irish whiskeys, ryes and other spirits. Very good service and cocktails in a nice atmosphere.

On the road. Not high expectations. Nice surprise. Remember that you're in Santa Rosa, not San Francisco or Portland. Having said that, this was a good dining experience. Friendly, knowledgeable waitstaff. She was willing to make recommendations, not always the most expensive item, either. Waiter recommended a glass of wine not on the by-the-glass menu. The bar popped the cork,... More
