Great Restaurant

Excellent fresh food and excellent service. A diverse menu to choose from and wines to pair with the food. We were treated like family.

Stopped in for happy hour, which is only on Wednesday and Friday from 5 to 6. The food is amazing, and happy hour is a bargain for the most part. The fries and fried chick pea fries are perfectly cooked. The buckwheat crepes are amazing, and a wonderful bargain at $6. A nice glass of wine makes a great light... More

This restaurant provides high end French cuisine. The food is fantastic, and everything is fresh and delicious. The chefs are very creative, and provide new taste experiences. We chose the set price dinner option which offers several courses for one price and we were delighted with the selection. While this bistro is not cheap, the food is well worth it.... More

What a gem!! Located in downtown Santa Rosa, this intimate bistro offers fantastic traditional buckwheat crepes and much more - we love to take advantage of their twice a week happy hour deals with reduced prices on crepes and drinks. The perfect summer dining experience is their forestier (wild mushroom) crepe w/ egg on top with a nice glass of... More

We go to Bistro 29 often and absolutely love Chef's work. I think he is one of the most talented in the County, turning out dishes from casual classic French crepes to star-quality Cal-French masterpieces. The menu is tuned to the seasons and everything tastes so fresh. The T-W-Th night $29 prix fixe menu ($39 with wine pairings) is a... More

This has now become our "go to" restaurant in the Sonoma County area. Yes its small, but good things come in little packages. The food - Outstanding! The wine - Outstanding in not terribly expensive. The staff - Fabulous, especially Sierra. She is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable.

We went here for an evening with my sisters family and found that the restaurant was small but very nice. The waiters were right on the spot with menu help. The menu was loaded with what they were preparing for that day with local produce and meats. I had the brick roasted chicken with wild local mushrooms. It was prepared... More
