Brian Anderson (owner/chef) opened Bistro 29 on a Sunday for a private party. There were over 30 of us. This was the best group dinner that we have ever attended. People came from Hong Kong, Australia and even Nebraska as well as Santa Rosa and Southern California . The food was exemplary and the service was, as always, perfect. This... More

Had a wonderful New Year's dinner in this cozy and friendly bistro. The food was excellent and they had interesting food combinations without being too fussy or flashy. Good balance between taste and looks.

Bistro 29 offers a lovely weekly dinner which is a nice selection but also offers a la carte. I like the options of wines and even hard apple cidre which is appropriate with a savory crepe. Very nice meal.

Very small, homey restaurant specializing in French cuisine. The food is outstanding. Our server was Sierra - a real gem - pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. The wine list is reasonably priced offering both California and French wines. Worth to stop if you are in Santa Rosa. It is our "go to" place when in the area.

This was one of the best meals I've ever had. The entire experience was wonderful. The service was great and our server gave us a really nice wine recommendation. Every single course we ordered was amazing. I started with the seared goat cheese crottin, which was a really tasty endive salad. For the main course I had the seared scallops... More

This French restaurant is a hidden gem! The sweet breads with capers in lemon sauce was delicious! Also the bone marrow and escargot was to die for! Good wine list, local and French, deserts and coffee. Be adventurous or plain, they have good food for everyone. Great place for a romantic date!!

this is a small intimate place that offers great food ( try the scallops) and specials such as their $29.00 three course meals ( check for days offered) and happy hour. They have local sourced food and great wines. It is well worth taking a look and I promise you will enjoy every bite!

The Vintners Inn recommended Bistro 29 for dinner and we're very glad they did! Bistro 29 is small, quaint and perfect! We love Bistros like this. From the moment we entered, we were treated as though we were special. Zack, our waiter was excellent, as well as the entire staff. All were friendly, professional and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves... More

We have been to Bistro 29 about 6-7 times this summer, and we go on a Tuesday thru Thursday, when their special three course dinners are just $29 !! This week we had a special chicken dish, plus salad and dessert. Last week the feature was Filet. This is a cute little restaurant (seats maybe 40, plus a few at... More
