I have never been disappointed with the food at Rabalais. It is a very nice change of fare from our standard, go-to, Mexican food here in town. The location is great and they have a wonderful patio to "brunch" on. especially on the weekend. Try the fried green tomato po'boy, yum! I had never had friend green tomatoes before and... More

This is a restaurant which specializes in Cajun food. Much of Santa Paula has excellent Mexican places to eat, but it is nice to have an alternative. Good menu selection of Louisiana food. I had a beet salad with blue cheese on a bed of spinach and my wife had one of the specialty croque sandwiches. Food was excellent, well... More

Went for lunch on a Monday and would have returned to try something else for dinner, but they aren't open for dinner every night. Husband had the gumbo and a side of "greens with black eyed peas", which he really enjoyed. I had the seafood chowder and a bacon, lettuce and fried green tomato salad - both Delicious! The BEST,... I had heard Rabalais Bistro in Santa Paula, CA was pretty good, since I was passing thru on business I decided to drop in and have a taste. Nice open remodeled roomy restaurant on Main St. Almost directly across from the clock tower. The staff was friendly, busy and moderately attentive. I had the Seafood Gumbo Bowl, quite good actually.... More

Good for a quick snack and coffee. Decor is interesting. We like to sit outside with the bicyclists that are usually there.

The desserts here are sooo delicious from their lemon meringue pies to apple to strawberry tarts to the many varieties of cookies. Just can't drive by without stopping. If you ever get a chance you must eat breakfast there...love to start my dat right with any of the items on the breakfast menu...you can't go wrong...
