This hard-to-find restaurant, located in an out-of-the way industrial park, is a gem. By day it is a cheerful coffee shop, serving up great breakfasts and the best burgers and sandwiches and salads for lunch. In the evening, linen tablecloths and soft lighting transform Hozy's. Has to be seen to be believed!

Google directions and head to Hozy's Grill for a great breakfast! I had French toast to die for, accompanied by two fresh eggs and good bacon. Good coffee. This place is in an industrial park (light industry, if any). Quiet. I can still taste the French toast; it was THAT GOOD!

Horrible experience. Was with a group of seven. We were immediately seated. Waitresses were nice and sweet. The other six were satisfied with their meals. Some had been there before and liked the place. So what was the problem? I ordered an egg and some potatoes O'Brien, I was served a large plate of the potatoes, The first 3-4 bites... More

Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Hozy's is one of the most consistantly high quality restaurants I know of. The chili verde is awfully hot, but hard to turn down on top of huveos rancheros. They do the salmon perfectly well cooked, which isnt' a whole lot. It's a breakfast house or a fancy evening, pretty much whatever you need.

Custom cooked order so food is slow in arriving, but very good recipes and high quality meat. Excellent Veal Marsala. Only real opportunity for something close to gourmet restaurant in Santa Paula. Small facility in location off the main roads- so call for reservation.

This restaurant is fantastic. It's bright, cheery, comfortable. The service was top notch, the waitress and servers were professional yet relaxed. The food was wonderful, I had fettucine alfredo with chicken and I loved it. My guest had the chicken fried steak, he tried that based on one of these Trip Advisor reviews. It did not disappoint. It was very... More

My wifre and I celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary here. Breakfast, lunch or dinner it is incomparable. Best meal in ventura county hands down. She had the filet trio. So good!!! I had the abalone appetizer. Just marvelous! They had a Shishedo pepper appetizer that sounded great. I asked server if I could try one. He brought me 4 of... More

You will probably need it if you are a first timer. Eat here once and you will be able to find it blindfolded because you will never forget how good it is. Like Gene H. said,"our car just kind of goes in the direction." Breakfast or dinner. No matter. Mi suegra now makes the second best chile verde in the... More

Found Hozy's Grill! Sort of industrial neighborhood, you might turn around thinking there is no way there is a restaurant on this street; persevere as you are in for a real treat! Food is so wonderful & service is excellent also. Great accommodations & decorations! Cannot beat the price for the amount of food.
