Top joint

Heaps of beers to choose from and cheap food. We had the ribs and wings. The waiters are friendly and easy to talk to.

I was looking for a specific beer "Pliny The Elder" and this place had it on tap. We got a great seat in the back patio area and got liquored. The beer selection was top notch and the waitresses knowledge of the beers was excellent. The burger was great, although messy, and it was open reasonably late compared to other... More

Was referred to this place and it was just awesome! Excellent selection of craft beer and the ambience on the patio was just awesome. Our waitress, orginally from Boston, was a sweetheart and was extremely hard working, as were the rest of the staff there, we always saw them running around, ensuring tables were cleared and people were happy. Our food... More

We visited twice in four days. Once for beers and were impressed with the range of beers and the menu looked great so came back the next day for a meal. The restaurant is on Main Street which has a good selection of bars and restaurants. From the front the bar area is modern looking and can get quite busy.... More

Had lunch here on on the Saturday before Easter. Great selection of LA beers and a very extensive menu. I had the best turkey burger ever! Just wonderful fresh food, nice patio, friendly/knowledgeable wait staff. Really glad that we stopped in.

Selected this based on friends recommendation. They were out of almost 50% of the "Craft Beer" selections. All three of us ordered lunch and none finished. Server was very pleasant.

We visited this place twice in our 4 days in Santa Monica, once for a drink after dinner and once for dinner. Both experiences were wonderful and we really felt like we were in a true local bar. When seated at the bar the girl working was so welcoming. The bear selection is awesome if you're into micro brews and... More

I've been to this place twice and each time had a great experience. The food is phenomenal for a place famous for beer. The beer selection as others have noted is second to none and I especially enjoy the rotating taps as you won't be sure what they have on any given day. One time while visiting we had the... More

My friend took me to this restaurant on the last night of my trip to L.A. As a book lover, the name had me sold, and it didn't take much to convince me to stay. Great selection of beers and nice wines available. The food was mouth watering from the first to last bite, and we even ordered dessert (not... More

Really enjoyed this venue, was recommended by one of the shops across the road as having an interesting selection of craft beer, they were spot on the money. It is a popular venue and gets busy early in the evening, there is an area at the back so don't be put off if the front is heaving. The burger was... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
