This was our second visit here and we still liked it. There are so many great selections on the menu it was hard to choose. If I was a regular there I would love to try all their salads. We tried the calamari which was great and the burgers are really good. So many great ale's and wine's to choose... More

I have been here several times and while I didn't think this place would impress me, it definitely did. Their beer selection is great and always changing with local and craft brews. The food is also really good which surprised me. They also have a great happy hour menu. It seems very small inside but they have a covered patio... More

I have been to the Library Alehouse since the nineties. It is always very good food no matter what is ordered, lively, great service and reasonably priced food and drinks.

This is definitely a great place if you are a beer connoisseur, which I am not. I went for a graduation celebration. The place was pretty packed for an early weekday, parking is horrible. The food was not the best I've had for too much money. I got their "All American Burger" that came with fries. The burger was pretty... More

This is a fun bar and restaurant on Main Street in Santa Monica. I met a friend for a date and we ended up checking out the place on a whim. There are small table settings and a short bar in the front, and a larger patio in the back. We sat in the front and enjoyed a few craft... More

Called in for a beer so review is based on a short visit. Did have good range of draft beers, but they were expensive, $8/small glass.Place could do with sprucing up and back patio was nothing special. Sorry guys, but food must be good to offset downbeat look.

Had the burger sliders, goat cheese quesadilla, and salad shares with my sister and everything was first rate. Our service was helpful and efficient. We were out onthe patio which is where you want to be if you want to hear conversations.! Nice crowd.

I love the beer list at Library Alehouse. My flight landed late my first night in Santa Monica and I still had time to grab two great beers before they closed. The next night I went for dinner and had the short ribs. tender and delicious. Any beer aficionado should visit.

This is a great place to meet up with friends or just hang out. There is a cute patio in the back with heaters if needed. The service was great and you never feel rushed. I was surprised by the fun menu (not just bar food) and great array of tap beers. The dinners were large portions and very reasonably... More
