Great Selection of Local Beer

Had lunch here on on the Saturday before Easter. Great selection of LA beers and a very extensive menu. I had the best turkey burger ever! Just wonderful fresh food, nice patio, friendly/knowledgeable wait staff. Really glad that we stopped in.

Selected this based on friends recommendation. They were out of almost 50% of the "Craft Beer" selections. All three of us ordered lunch and none finished. Server was very pleasant.

We visited this place twice in our 4 days in Santa Monica, once for a drink after dinner and once for dinner. Both experiences were wonderful and we really felt like we were in a true local bar. When seated at the bar the girl working was so welcoming. The bear selection is awesome if you're into micro brews and... More

I've been to this place twice and each time had a great experience. The food is phenomenal for a place famous for beer. The beer selection as others have noted is second to none and I especially enjoy the rotating taps as you won't be sure what they have on any given day. One time while visiting we had the... More

My friend took me to this restaurant on the last night of my trip to L.A. As a book lover, the name had me sold, and it didn't take much to convince me to stay. Great selection of beers and nice wines available. The food was mouth watering from the first to last bite, and we even ordered dessert (not... More

Really enjoyed this venue, was recommended by one of the shops across the road as having an interesting selection of craft beer, they were spot on the money. It is a popular venue and gets busy early in the evening, there is an area at the back so don't be put off if the front is heaving. The burger was... More

I pulled in late on Saturday night and there were no spaces left, however, I squeezed myself to the bar and ordered a burger. It was just as I expected and wanted - big and juicy. The fries that it came with were freshly fried with skins on, but a little too soggy for my liking. Nice selection of beers... More

Excellent! All round very good. Looking for somewhere to eat whilst in Santa Monica on business. After walking the stretch, was suggested this place by a parking lot attendant. Seated quickly, served quickly, great food, good service, reasonable prices. Great little kooky place. Strongly recommend!

Excellent selection of beers. There is a nice, though cramped beer garden in the back. The dining room tends to be loud. The service was fair enough. It's a good pub menu, the sandwiches are hearty and delicious. The burger is great, good fries. It's a good place for lunch or a casual dinner with friends or family.

This was an excellent experience. I went there with my family on advice of Lonely Planet -which is generally very good at suggesting great places. The restaurant exceeded my expectations!! The portions of food were massive and really nice. The beers were unbelievable. We tried a double pale ale and a special ale with an unusual rum and cherry taste.... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
