Booth seats, tables, lots of bright paint, chips and salsa at your table, frozen margaritas, standard Mexican menu. We had good service and everything was very standard for American Mexican Restaurants.

Never eaten Mexican food before so was a great first time experience with waitress providing good info on cuisine. Very busy, lots of happy diners obviously all enjoying the food and happy atmosphere. Fair pricing on food and drinks

Enjoyed our dinner here and the lively atmosphere. The sampler plate had an interesting variety. It was a bit spicier than usual Mexican fare. Good margaritas.

I went there just in the beginning of the month. The food is OK, their dessert is delicious and their decoration is great. It's really fun to be there

Spent the first night here in Santa Monica. I would say the food was average but the atmosphere was good and the margaritas were some of the best I have tasted!

Whatever tourists imagine Mexican food will taste like, Lula delivers. There are trendy dishes on the menu and there are lots of choices. The food is ample, good tasting, but nothing special or particularly unique. They make the best margaritas, and the place is always hopping with a crowd that just loves to drink! I may be of the age... More

I enjoyed my dinner with a friend here. We had a nice window table and it was a lovely evening to be out in Santa Monica. Food was fresh and tasty.. the only complaint would be I asked for hot salsa with the chips and they didn't bring it until we were almost completely finished with the meal.. but they... More

My boyfriend and I just ate there since the hotel recommended it for authentic Mexican food. We walked over, and it has the typical Mexican restaurant ambience. We were served salsa and chips, which the salsa was spicy and delicious in all the right ways. When asked what we would like to order, I asked what was recommended. The waitress... More

The food was pretty good, but it is the crowd that was the draw, very yummy all the way around, check this place out, have a few drinks and walk this area, fun!

I had maybe too high expectations cause the place was packed. Good atmosphere good cocktails. We waited a long time for drinks, 20 mins. But they were super delisious. Mango margaritas yum! So i thought hmm,,a little lobester taco, why not, bad move...it was only a two bite experience but it must have been from the batch the day before.... More
