I have eaten in delis all my life, in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. Fromin's disappointed big time. The meager amount of corned beef was dry, as were the slices of rye bread. The kishke was bland and tastless. The coffee cake tasted like a piece of bread with sugar on it. All in all, this restaurant did not... More

I eat here w/my friends and out-of-town guests when we can not make it to Canters Deli. I love their sandwiches, pickles and desserts.

Froman's is a big eatery having such an extensive menu that you can gain weight just reading your way through it. The food is not gourmet but it is very good. The portions are large. The senior dinner for $14.95 is 3 courses. Enough for 2-3 days meals. This is not a chain restaurant. Still run by the family. A... More

We eat here over and over. The food is good, fresh and service is quick. It is a typical noisy deli and you can always count on the corned beef.

We were looking forward to good Jewish deli food and had good memories from eating here several years ago. After tonight, never again! My Lima bean soup was so thick with cornstarch or whatever the thickener was that I could literally stand the spoon upright in the bowl without support. The flavor was so-so. My husband's clam chowder was much... More

Not for fashionable/trendy/Beverly Hills "wannabes." Fromin's delivers huge portions, tasty soups, traditional Kosher, and even fresh sliced pickles. Prices are fair. Families are welcome. Ample free parking.

Had a great lunch at Fromin's, a New York style deli located on Wilshire in Santa Monica. If this si what you are looking for, it perfectly fits the bill.

Fromin's gets alot of press for being a go-to deli, but I find it just okay. It is popular with the older, older set and the food reflects that. I ordered an omellette the last time and the veggies were cut into super small cubes. Odd.

Local deli in Santa Monica. Very good service for the disabled and elderly. Wonderful hamburgers, especially the california burger, and good potato skins (under Noshes). Sandwiches are a good value. The dinner entrees are just so-so and on the expensive side.

Great family dining experience. Food tastes as if there was an entire staff of grandmothers preparing the food. Portion size was very good and taste was excellent. Easy to taste something different on each meal. Special menu before 7pm had many selections and the senior portions were only slightly smaller. Great service, was in Santa Monica for wedding and on... More
