Ate here 2x while on a 4 day vacation. Go early or be ready to wait for a table. Which you should do because the food is very good. Plenty of vegetarian options. Service was very friendly. Seemed like a lot of locals and repeat customers filled the small but comfortable, mostly outdoor restaurant.

We spent some days in Santa Monica in february and found this place near where we were working. The breakfast are awesome, but what is remarkable from here is the hamburger. Just meat, pickles, tomato, lettuce, no fashion sauces, no complicated condiments. You need guts to serve simple things relying just on the ingredients and this place has them. Great... More

We were trying to do several different breakfast places close to our hotel. Cora's was our 2nd stop and the wait was .... long. But, once seated, the food and service were perfect. It's a bit pricey, but this ain't no Denny's. The eggs/toast/salmon and bagel brutta (buffalo cheese spread) were all perfect. Try to get a table outside with... More

This place made my wknd. Let's start with the coffee. Amazing!! A small wait but the blueberry orange pancakes were a generous size and were great. Definitely a good brunch/couples place. Go here, it is well worth it.

We had to wait about 20 minutes for our table, but it was totally worth it! The coffee was some of the best we've had in LA. The fresh squeezed grapefruit was amazing (but thats not hard to screw up either.) We had orange pancakes, and an egg white omelet. The food was delicious and totally worth the wait! We... More

The food is good but the service is so bad that it effects the overall meal. Other reviews are correct regarding the service and attitude of the waitstaff.

Ask for fresh fruit with the steel cut oats. For an extra couple of bucks, they add blueberries, sliced bananas and strawberries. We should have split it, there's plenty for two. The buckwheat blueberry pancakes were big enough to share too.

We are former Santa Monica residents and back in the day Cora's was a great place for breakfast. Not so much anymore. The old fashioned breakfast is no more, replaced by trendy and sometimes odd food. For example no toast with my corned beef & eggs and the corned beef wasn't corned beef. Some beef with a great variety of... More

Met some friends here for breakfast and was expecting an excellent meal based on previous reviews. Sadly, that was not to be -- at least not for all of us. The whole wheat blueberry pancakes were liked by some---I thought they had almost no flavor. The lox were good, the bagel didn't come close to being a bagel but the... More

Really charming little restaurant. Food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I will return whenever I am in Santa Monica and will recommend it to all my friends.
