Excellent food in a comfortable setting

I eat here frequently given it's close to work. The Yellow Curry is my go-to fave; creamy, slightly spicy, very flavorful. I also enjoy the Pad Thai and the Braised Pork Belly. Good price, great food, excellent service, very clean and comfortable atmosphere.

Tiny restaurant at 10 min walk from 3rd Street promenade. Absolutely delicious! Try the red curry soup and the chicken wings, you won't regret it! Drinks are interesting too: we tried the coconut (a whole fresh coconut to drink and eat) and the thai tea. Service fast and nice, they where always wearing a big smile! :) The price is... More

I have been to this restaurant numerous times and it has always been very good. The food is always fresh and sauces are tasty. There is numerous items to choose from. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is attentive. The food is not necessarily, "authentic" but the dining experience is very nice.

Food is always good, a little more expensive but worth it. Very nice atmosphere and good service. A little difficult to get take out due to location.

iam a pure veggie and hence when my american client took me to this restaurant I was a bit apprehensive. but, they had a decent veggie menu. I took the veg soup which was impressive with a taste of spinach. The main course was a veggie curry with rice and the portion was very large. overall, the taste was very... More

I ordered takeout online (which is so convenient). The restaurant looked very nice inside. My spicy veggie fried rice was excellent. I also had a papaya salad and it was just ok. I've had much better. Overall, it was a decent experience and I would definitely give it another try.

Bangkok West serves delicious and freshly prepared Thai food although portions are not large and prices are somewhat higher than an average Thai restaurant. Service was helpful and friendly when we ordered take out. We enjoyed chicken satay, yellow curry which was at a perfect level of not too spicy, a delicious pad se eau, and refreshing kale and tofu... More

Admittedly, this gem is a favorite of mine and everyone I bring. There are plenty of items beloved and suitable for each person's dietary restrictions, food allergies and sensitivities. Every menu items is plated beautifully. Many dishes include a medley of vegetables, often comprised of broccoli, bok choy, carrots, baby corn, bamboo shoots, sauted onions, red bell peppers, and green... More

In terms of service, we were seated in 5 or so minutes, but nearly 15 until we had water. Our server was polite and efficient with taking our order, and brought our drinks quickly. It was 20 or so minutes before the food came. In terms of food, it was okay. The curry with tofu was nice; the pad se-eau... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
