This lunch was fantastic, the server was great. The chips and salsa were the best and our meals we're so different and great. We are always used to the same Mexican and this was such a great change . I had the avocado tacos and will definitely be back.

I thought the food was outstanding! I had the chicken poblano enchiladas which were delicious, really rich flavors, not just hot. The service was laughably spotty, indifferent and slow, but we weren't in a hurry and the food was so good I didn't care.

Family of four adults at dinner. Appetizers were very good, good variety and flavors. Two of the meals were tasty and of good quality. One being a steak quasdillas the others a steak tostada. Both were well made; they do steaks well! The other meals tasted awful. They were seafood enchilada (special of the night) and the pescado veracruzano. The... More

This was a wonderful choice for a birthday dinner. The restaurant is a little dark but the art concept around the restaurant was interesting to gaze at.The staff was super helpful and courteous. The food was AMAZING. The chile relleno burger was a such a cool concept and tasted great although a little messy.. ok alot messy. The guacamole was... More

We had a group of 4 and had the unlimited small plates brunch for $30 per person which was totally worth it. It gave us the opportunity to try many dishes and not feel guilty if we didn't finish them. We left absolutely stuffed! We had a lot of fun and laughed a lot during our brunch, so if you... More

Rarely you find a decent place to eat at an airport, and here you have one: the Border Grill of Santa Monica happens to be also inside LAX, in the Duty Free area after the security check, and it's real food you can actually say "yummy!". excellent burgers, chiles rellenos, quesadillas with chile poblano ... and model especial. By the... More

After an outstanding brunch here 3 years ago, I was anxious to return to Border Grill and, back in Santa Monica, jumped. The brunch was satisfying, but less than outstanding. What is a bit different about this endless brunch is that you order from the menu, 2-3 items at a time, and then shortly receive your food on small plates.... More

Enjoyed a lovely, simple, well executed meal here on vacation. Felt like a normal restaurant, not a tourist gauge. Staff was lovely and attentive.

Border Grill has been around quite a long time but it still delivers. I had the sauteed shrimp and when I first touched them with my fork I worried they might be overcooked but they were actually perfectly cooked and very flavorful. And the rice served with it was also very good. My dining companion had the chicken enchiladas and... More
