I was really thrilled with my visit to Fritto Misto. First, the staff welcomes you like a friend, even on a first visit. The menu is diversified (if you are looking Italien dish), and at a cost other restaurants can't beat. The atmosphere is cordial, the service really, but I mean really fast, and the meal...succulent! My experience was great... More

Yes, there was a line and we had to wait... but can the owners help it? A lot of people love this restaurant so we waited in line and it was worth the wait! Since a number of guests waited awhile, the owner/manager(?) brought out some complimentary snacks/appetizers. Since we were a big group, we had to wait a little... More

Recommended by locals to me. Almost half of their menu are items that are vegetarian! The portions were huge. Our group split a large salad, veggie lasagna (yes, I said veggie lasagna), sweet potato ravioli (they had so many different types of ravioli- impressive), and a linguini dish. The only "complaint" I had was how loud it was, but that... More

Fritto Misto is the perfect combination of fresh food, a homey atmosphere, and great service. My favorite dishes are the Pillows Checca and the Veggie Lasagna with Pink Sauce, and their calamari appetizer and lemon square dessert are the perfect bookends to either entree. I'm so glad I live nearby instead of only having this available when I'm on vacation!

We had to wait around 45 minutes for a table after we were told to head down after 8.30 for timing but ended up being fine as once inside, we had already decided what to order. Food came within around 10 minutes - fantastic. Food was delicious and cheap. So many options, love the make your own dishes since I... More

This restaurant is very crowded with a long waiting line. We waited 20 minutes to get a table. Once we did get in, the tables were too close together. Not sure what the fuss is about here. Nothing special. I had Garlic Shrimp with black and white pasta. It so so so oily. OMG-I had stomach pains all night and... More

Food, service, environment all great. A wonderful place to go with a group. Menu was extensive and food was delicious. We went early 5:00 pm dinner no wait large table waiting for us. Not rushed through dinner a big plus. Large crowds of people waiting outside as we left we were glad we went early. Parking difficult but worth the... More

Staying at the Shore Hotel Santa Monica we wanted to try an Italian eatery within walking distance from the Hotel. We found Fritto Misto which was an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel and well worth the visit. This is a fairly large, busy place that although churns out alot of food does it well. The service to start... More

I frequent this restaurant with a friend and also by myself. So many things on the menu, I usually have something different each time. You can be as decadent or healthy with the pasta as you like. Their ravioli combos are excellent and usually very rich. You will probably have food left over - I watched a family order the... More

We arrived at the restaurant about 8pm on a Wednesday and it was crowded but we only had to wait about five minutes for a table. On walking in the door we could tell straight away that we liked the staff and the feel of the place. We were also asked if we would share a table with another couple... More
