Went here on a date Saturday night after walking the pier and driving through Malibu. We were seated after a small wait of 15 minutes. I got the chicken parmensana hermosa and my date got the pasta New Orleans. We really shared our dishes and both were delicious. Our server was named Amanda I think and she was the best.... More

This restaurant is very popular in town for very good reasons; the pasta recipes are incredibly good and all at a very reasonable price. The staff is friendly and efficient with a local hometown ambience. All my friends and family love this restaurant and you will feel the same way. The servings are large and a doggie box for your... Stopping for a bite to eat in the middle of the day, I knew what I was having for dinner! The portions are enormous and delicious and an excellent choice for a repeat later in the evening. I had the shrimp with black and white pasta and my friend had the atomic pasta. I've been here before and and I... More

A little bit hard to find, this truly IS a "out of the way neighborhood" restaurants,as it is not on a busy thoroughfare. This adds to its sweet, comfortable atmosphere. And the FOOD? Really, really delicious: imaginative ingredient combinations, large quantities (no nouveau Californian bird- peckin' food here) and delicious wines, all served by a pleasant staffer. Menu recommendations were... More

We than TripAdvisor for pointing us in the direction of Fritto Misto. We were worried that as the roads outside were closed due to roadworks, it would be too, but thankfully it was still open. We were seated immediately and chose a great Pinot Grigio for $15.50. I had the Italian Sausage Lasagne with the famous "pink" sauce. What a... More

Enjoyed a wonderful Italian dinner with a friend. The location is a shirt walk from the pier and downtown Santa Monica in a quiet neighborhood. The place was packed on a Sunday night. The food was delicious -- create your own pasta dish and their signature creations were a hit. What stood out was the service -- our waiter was... More

Fritto Misto is a solid local neighborhood gem, which are getting fewer and fewer as Santa Monica continues to get over-developed. Quality food, good prices, and nice environment. You won't go wrong here!
