The location is great: right at the foot of Santa Monica Pier, so you can stroll up the paved recreation trail through the sands from Venice Beach or along the (slightly skimpy) gardens from the 3rd Street Market area in Santa Monica. Had a very pleasant late lunch there once. Very nice view of the ocean, food is quite decent too. But honestly, still think Chinese and French does seafood better then American... Sorry. more

beautiful ...delicious... great service ... perfect place for a date or to bring out of towners ... or just great friends ... lunch is perfect ... right on the water next to the Santa Monica Pier ... great food and service. more

We were 4 of us and ate at the lobster last march. The food was good. We order 4 soups and 4 lobsters. The lobsters was very good and also the soup. Oysters were good, salad was ok. Sea Bass was terrible. Burned, and the wait staff tried to describe it as "carmelized." It was burned and permeated the entire piece of fish. Completely inedible. DO NOT ORDER THE SEA BASS!!! Can''t speak for the rest of the menu, but go somewhere else if sea bass is your preference.l more
