The food is excellent, the views are amazing, the staff is fantastic and all fingers point to the awesome GM, Jack Dinicola. Nobody runs a better restaurant in all of LA.

This is a trendy place to eat that you pretty much need to book to go to. The meal was divine, we had scallops and pork belly. The whole plate went together perfectly. The flavours were well balanced. Truly one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The view of the sunset isn't bad either!

Delicious codling with coconut rice and roasted kumquats. Hubby had the filet mignon with a lobster tail. I had the oatmeal and berry crumble, served hot with vanilla ice cream. Husband had a fudgy chocolate cake with ice cream.

I love this place! Great, friendly service, the best view from a restaurant in Santa Monica and OF COURSE the food is done excellently from their Happy Hours to their salads, and appetizers to their fresh seafood specials to their great wine selection and cocktails, you really can't go wrong bringing yourself or anybody here. It will not disappoint.

We flew into LAX yesterday from Hong Kong and having arrived at our Hotel near the Santa Monica Pier, fancied a light dinner. We picked the Lobster based on its reviews and were not disappointed. We walked to the restaurant from our hotel and arriving without a reservation, we were seated almost immediately. The place was very busy and quite... More

What a great experience than to eat seafood and view Santa Monica Pier and beach. The Oysters "Naked Cowboys" are always the best, but we also tried the other Oysters. Just beware that the Horse Radish can be a little potent and kill the taste of the Oyster. We also ordered the Clam apetiser and enjoyed. For our mains we... More

We were ignored when stepping in the door, and the service just got worse. The presentation of the food was awful and lacked any kind of culinary passion. At the end of the night, the waiter held the dessert menu upside down to ask if we were interested in any desserrt items. (No thanks!) I wished we had chosen a... More

We requested a window table, and received confirmation but upon arriving at the restaurant, where the hostess was training and did not acknowledge us in the least, they attempted to seat us in the middle of the place. My girlfriend didn't allow that and we got a table where we requested. Appetizers were very good - oyster sampler and Uni.... More

we saw this restaurant in the trip advisor. booked a online reservation while we were siting in santa monica pier. would recommend the same. Else, waiting would have been for a long time. The place was full. noisy . but the ambience was filled with fun. every table there was life and noise. Looked like everyone comes to celebrate here.... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
