We came to Melisse for our anniversary and had the 10 course menu. First of all, everyone treated us really well. We were wished happy anniversary over and over again. So there was very excellent service and we felt the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We even got some truffles to take away after the dinner. It is very romantic... More

I rarely like giving out 5-star reviews because there's usually room for improvement at every establishment. Melisse, however, exceeded my expectations when I made the decision to bring my wife to dine here. We each went with the 4-course menu and made sure to order different things. 4 courses may not sound like a lot but it's more like 8... More

Took my girl our for dinner on her birthday. Tried to see which restaurants in LA had good reviews and saw it had been ranked by michelin in past, so figured maybe its worth the visit and the price Went and sat down around 6pm, ordered from their degustation menu. Had few items including wagyu beef, came away unimpressed. Pricy... More

We have dined at Melisse 3 times in the last year. Every time it never ceases to delight and amaze. The food is creative, flavorful, visually enticing, and thoughtful. Chef Citron uses local, seasonal ingredients and the menus change, but they always have some continuity. We always get the "Ten" menu, which includes 10 small tasting courses, plus amuse bouche... Melisse, though a bit pricey - it's an enjoyable and mouthwatering experience that you must try for yourself. If you must splurge on anything involving a night out on the town coupled with food - then you MUST try this place. Each meal was spectacular, and the wine pairings always hit the mark! The caviar w/cream, Kobe beef, fish (not... More

Great location but the place is not really fine dining. I had the 10 items set menu and out all entries I like three. The sommelier was nice but sometimes extra-friendly. They really try to be fine dining but the ambiance was cheap. The mid 50's restaurant manager flirting with one of the guests (very nice young lady), he didn't... More

We had read about and looked forward to dining at Melisse. Our table of 4 selected the tasting menu. Proportions were perfect for our three hour dining experience and the pacing of the courses was unrushed. We arrived at 7:30 on a Saturday night with the restaurant 3/4 full. Tables are set in a common area with plenty of space... More

Dined here for business with clients that like me greatly appreciate really good dining and wine. We had been told to try Melisse by several people so when the chance came we took it. While we were not disappointed we were not over whelmed either. The menu depending on how you approach it is wide and varied, a bit over... More
