What a terrific place to dine. Located in a beautiful old house and decorated like something right out of Warsaw with old world touches but modern beautiful Polish art on the walls. Seating in several dining rooms that feel like you might be in Europe. That is the backdrop now on to the great menu... read more

The food for sure definitely quite authentic, beer is great, as I have been to many E Europe countries hence I can tell even I m not a polish but several cons: 1. Portion is small for American standard especially the appetizer, like its potato pancake, only 4 small slices. Side dish for roast duck charging $24 before tax and... More

We wanted to try something different and it was delightful. Got a salad sampler for the table and that was devoured by four people in no time. Ordered a second and we gobbled it up. Next, pickle soup. I had no reason to be nervous - it was delicious. Also great were the lamb dumplings, the pieroghi - have no... More

Been by this place hundreds of times but until now, was not a patron. Great homey feel to this place with as it might have been a house at one time . Service was friendly, quick and unobtrusive. My group ordered several dishes but I had the Pork Schnitzel which was perfect , nice portion and sides too. We split... More

Have been eating at this Polish gem for several years. The ambiance is white table cloth but I have picked up food or eaten an early dinner in jeans. The food is excellent, especially the hot borscht soup which is only offered seasonally but my favorite of all on the menu, usually available in colder months. Schnitzel is very good,... More

I've lived in Santa Monica for many years and have visited this restaurant a couple of times for special events but had never dined here per say. It's only a couple blocks away from us, so one night we, on a whim, decided to check it out. We weren't particularly dressed for a night out for dinner nor did we... More

This is a restaurant that my wife and I like to go to with friends so we can sit and have a pleasant chat without a lot of background noise. The restaurant is in an old house, so is divided into a number of small rooms, each with just a few tables, so you can converse in a normal tone... More

This is by far the best Polish food I have ever had. You could tell that everything was made fresh in the kitchen. The perogies are a must have when you go there. I would recommend the fried potato and cheese perogies, as they were very light, crisp and delicious. The dinner also had amazing flavors and was a very... More

The food is very tasty! Prices are on the high side but the food is very good. The service is very nice and the dining room is well dressed. Have some pierogi and potato pancakes! Or you can have some white borst.

For some great Polish food I suggest Warszawa. The wait staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was there with some friends and we had a wonderful evening, we thought the food was really great.

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
