We originally drove to the Santa Monica Pier, but most of the restaurants were close due to the earlier days rain. The cashier working the Carousel gift shop recommended this place, so we parked nearby and here we are. Shrimp, beef, chicken, and pork tacos were all sampled and consumed, and the appetizer of chips with some of the best... More

I really wanted tacos but didn't want to go far out and find somewhere else. This place looked nice so we stopped in. The tacos were surprisingly good, not as good as Mexican street food but they were more modern and up scale. The 3 taco plate with rice and beans is quite filling. Their mole chicken was very good... Awful! We had been told this was the place to go. We went Saturday afternoon, it wasn’t overly busy, placed our order and got drinks. When the food arrived two orders were wrong, the waiter didn’t car at all and just shrugged. Mine was missing a taco and because I couldn’t remember the exact name. I asked for a menu... More

Dropped in here for a late lunch. Staff were very helpful answering my questions. Really enjoyed the food and had a delicious ginger margarita.

The meal I had (spicy pork and tortillas) was very nice as were the margaritas. Pity my kids don't enjoy or appreciate Mexican food....the waiter did his absolute best to try and accommodate them. The service was fantastic.

Like many restaurants on the Promenade, Loteria Grill has a mix of out and indoor dining which is what we were after. Chips were a little stale and the service was really slow. We had to keep flagging down our server. Overall unremarkable experience.

Atmosphere of the 3rd street promenade is one of the best assets for this restaurant. The food is their second asset. The Happy Hour menu is very good and can also serve as your meal. Food was good and not your traditional "American" Mexican food. Prices are a little steep but no different than most 3rd Street restaurants. Sit outside... More

There are a lot of Mexican restaurant in the area, but this one had great music, not too loud that that you can't hear your companions, drinks (margaritas) were excellent. Food was great. It's on third street promenade. Parking wasn't terrible, parking lots everywhere.

It is a farily good and fairly priced restaurant in an over priced area. It has a nice area in the back of the restaurant.

Stopped in for a casual Mexican meal. We were a party of 4 and were seating quickly. We all ordered various items and shared 2 plates of different types of nachos. All were very enjoyable. Service was quick and Margheritas were excellent. Would definitely eat there again.
