was there for a private party

so I'm not sure if the service was odd because of that, or what...but it was hard to get served. Once we did, the wine was great, the prices fair. The cheese plate was small for the price.

Had so much fun at this tasting (how could you go wrong?) Five generous pours of champagne and five tastings of bacon, plus olives, bread, crackers and nuts. Could get crowded with only a couple of staff to help. For those of you who frequently buy wine here, go taste in the back. Good prices and nice little area.

The wine was good. The happy hour prices are great. The food is not so great, tastes like frozen pizza because that is exactly what it was. The room is in back of the wine shop, a little creepy but they did a good job decorating. The bad part is gentlemen that sits in the wine shop. You pay him... More

Helpful staff. Selection has variety. Cool events. Parking lot. I love how involved they are in social media... the twitter account is active and hilarious! I picked up two (red & white) organic italian wines here for thanksgiving... (a modern & single girl alone but awesome, wine and cheese thanksgiving :) It was my first time buying organic wine but... I had to meet with a client, and I was in the Santa Monica area. The client liked wine also, so we decided to try this place... We were not disappointed! Monday & Thursday nights they have the "20 for 20" - you can try 20 1-ounce pours of 20 different wines for $20!!! The selection for $20 was amazing... More

The service is abysmal. We made advance reservations for 10 women for a girls wine group. The first 3 to arrive had to wait for 45 minutes for the waiter to even come to our table. I finally walked up to him at the bar and asked for service, and he said he just hadn't made it back to our... More

Went with a friend for a wine tasting. It was really fun and informative. The dining room is small and nicely appointed. There is a food truck outside on some week days too - to add to your choices of food. Service was delightful. I left full and more knowledgable and even bought two bottles of wine! I will be... Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
