Fun, hip, yummy, gluten-free pizza!

Walked to this fun pizza bar from our hotel; food was excellent - watched them make pizza(s) in front of us; felt local and authentic! Recommended by concierge at our hotel - Le Meridian Delfina .... really hit the spot!

Great Gluten Free Pizza! Two individual in my party are on a strict no gluten diet. This is an upscale place (with a young vibe). A little pricey for what you get but the fact that we get could a regular pizza and the others a Gluten Free pizza really made it nice. Also attached to a bakery which also... More

Really enjoyed the place tonight for dinner. Great pizza, especially the one with the fried egg, prosciutto and white sauce. Also cocktails are very good as well.

Such a great casual place to grab a delicious meal. Try the white mushroom pizza and you will not leave with leftovers!

The newly developed Pike & Rose neighborhood has several types of new restaurants and this is a nice new addition in sit down casual. There is wait staff and the atmosphere is lively and food casual and centered mostly around pizzas and salads. Pizzas are thin crust and salads are fresh with a few interesting options. We had a nice... More

we turned up to Stella with no booking around 8pm. After a short wait at the bar we ordered the pork meatballs and a half half mushroom/truffle and prosciutto pizza and a few glasses of Sangiovese. Meatballs were delicious and came quickly, the pizza about half an hour after that (with fair warning as they are each made from scratch).... More

I have written a positive review about this place in the past. Came here last night. Service was slow and bar staff really lame. They were chatting up guys and not interested in serving customers. Strongly lets down what is a good place. With poor service, this place seems overpriced and over-rated. Having wannabe actors behind the bar is never... More

Okay, I'll admit it, I Love Pizza, my girls Love Pizza, who doesn't Love Pizza? How else can one get some fresh dough, laid out with awesome tomato sauce, fresh veges, meats and cheese, baked to your liking and served up with a smile? No doubt a good pizza is something to share with your loved ones and friends and... More

While I was out in Santa Monica for business, I stopped by Stella Barra after a long day for a quick bite to eat. I sat at the bar and the staff were extremely friendly. My co-workers who live in Santa Monica said it was the best pizza in the area. The bartender recommended a few of the best selling... More

Came here by chance as always go to M Street next door. This place is a better option for food. Friendly staff, good atmosphere and fun to sit at the bar, which is the center of the room. Pizzas are tasty, though I don't get the big crusts. Kale salad excellent and finally worth the time and money. All in... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
