Have walked by this place and it's a pleasant reminder of some of the "South of the Border" destinations I've been to, however this one is a major disappointment. The bar maidens (aka hoochies) are not helpful, there's no place to sit and if there's some kind of sports event, good luck... That said, my wife and I took a... More

Popped in for a drink and took one of their great "mega margaritas" (to share). Cool atmosphere on 3rd St with plenty going on around. Food looked good but didn't partake this time.

This spot is amazing for late happy hour. We found ourselves here after exploring the Santa Monica Pier and I cant remember anything else. The margaritas are huge and very good! Great atmosphere as well.

Burritos were super yummy and great value. Lots of atmosphere going on (especially since it happened to the ice hockey grand final) and good drink specials. Would go there again, maybe when quieter and don't have to share eating area/table.

We stopped in for a few drinks and appetizers. Even though it was about 9:00 in the evening, the waitress insisted it was happy hour and margaritas were 2 for 1.. According to her, this doesn't mean that two people can order two drinks and pay for 1 .. it means that each of you get two margaritas whether you... More

I absolutely love this place. Not just for the happy hour but also for the burritos. You should get there before 4 pm though, everything after that is almost impossible because they are located directly on the promenade and once happy hour starts this place fills up in like 5 minutes. But even if they're packed you wont have to... More

While walking through the Third Street Promenade my friend and I passed this place and completely on a whim stopped for lunch. It was the giant margaritas that caught our eye, but the food was just as good. They offer these wonderfully large 36oz mega margaritas that come in almost comically large glasses. They set the tone for the entire... More

I had visited this lively place about a year ago, dining outside in their patio area. This is a great spot to grab a drink and people watch. I remember that I very much enjoyed my Margarita and lunch. The staff was friendly and the portions large. Upon my return a year later, I looked forward to another visit to... More

Standard tex mex fare with a reasonable atmosphere and great looking waitresses. Surf and turf taco is a good choice. Visited in the afternoon but still lots of atmosphere and people watching.
