Good for taco Tuesday.

A decent bar/restaurant. Taco Tuesday is fun there and not too expensive. A nice festive party atmosphere.

Let me say the positives first. The salsa is amazing. I want the recipe. The chips are nice and fresh and made it the highlight of our night. We ordered happy hour margaritas which were 2-1.. She asked if we wanted to make them bigger for $3 more. Now here's the catch. The bigger margaritas are $3 more than the... More

We were looking for a decent bar in Santa Monica but could not find anything so we settled for this place which was actually surprisingly really good and fun. we ordered some snacks, chips and dip, sunset rolls, and they had 2 for 1 margaritas and PBR. The music was really really good and the waitresses were very nice. The... More

My husband and I stopped by here on the way back to our Hotel. It looked busy and lively and we took 2 seats looking out to the front of the bar on the passers by. We ordered a beer for my husband and the waitress 'talked' me into a large Marguerita as there was only a $4 difference from... More

This was our first bar that we arrived at after our 15 hour flight. The bar tender was super friendly and looked after us all night, even buying us a couple of rounds. His name was Brandon. Happy hour is 4-6 and you buy 2 drinks for the price of one (one drink was $3) This is a Mexican place,... More

Maybe coming here to take advantage of happy hour is a better idea than coming for lunch. Food was average at best. Drowned in hot sauce was ok but felt dissapointed. I had 3 chicken tacos. Upside is there is a free self serve icey water machine. Santa Monica is alright and this would be a good place to chill... More

Two stars for the deceptive 2 for 1 pricing from 4-8 PM. We got our bill and it was $12 for each margarita, I watched them charge someone else $9 for a margarita. I know I wear a NY sports team hat, but I actually live here and am not cool with being ripped off. The food was ok, but... More

Looked a bit of a dive from the outside but I really fancied a cocktail so went in. We sat upstairs on a grubby table and looked at a sticky menu. To my surprise the food and drinks were both brilliant. The 36oz margarita for $17 was a bargain (and was the only drink we bought there all night it... More

Service felt very prompt and not very welcoming. Sat in the outside section and was waiting my entire visit. The waitress was very inattentive and didn't service us at all. All in all, waiting to order, forgotten food and none existing service had us kept for three and a half hours which is a lot for a quick taco. Our... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
