This great place has changed names and is now Cafe Noir but still has the same great food with a friendly French owner.

We started with Os A Moelle- roasted bone marrow, crostini duxelle, then we shared the Rabbit Hash- rabbit, potatoes and mushrooms topped with two sunny side up eggs, and Basque Madame- ham, cheese & bread grilled and topped with 2 sunny side up eggs and Spanish Chorizo served with potatoes and salad. This place was a real find! Classical decor, excellent service and spectacular food! We had the beef cheeks whilst our son had the wild boar pappardelle. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to LA.

Great staff, small but fabulous wine list, wonderful food, stylish and whimsey decor... As a European far away from home, this place felt like.. well, all the best bits of home. The staff are laid back, charming yet on the ball, and genuinely seem to care about the patrons... nice touches of personal attention mixed with efficiency is always a... More
