We arrived after a long flight from the East coast, got settled in at our rental and needed some dinner. M Street was recommend because of the good food and it was in walking distance from the apartment. We are so glad we went there. Kids were worn out due to time change but perked up one we got inside.... More

I used to love M Street Kitchen. They had/have maple bacon that is to die for. But I went for lunch last week and it was disappointing. They don't have the Cobb salad (that had maple bacon in it) on the menu anymore. I ordered the vegetarian chili and it was crazy salty, like the chef dumped a shaker of... More

We had 3 days in Santa Monica as part of a California road-trip and had breakfast here on 2 of the mornings. Very busy at weekends (but still seated within 10 minutes), but nicely quiet during the week. A short walk from the pier etc. but worth it.

This is a very popular spot! We went for dinner and it was packed. If you are looking for a quiet restaurant, this is not the place. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to accommodate dietary needs. Dinner was so tasty we decided to come back the next morning for a light breakfast. Glad we did because we tried... Nice terrace, nice staff, decent menu. I found a fruit fly in my granola, management was excellent at managing the issue. The muffin i had was dribbling in butterscotch and the americano positively bad. I won't be back.

I've eaten at M Street Kitchen 6-7 times in the last year. I live and work fairly close by, so it's a convenient place to grab brunch on the weekends or a quick weekday lunch with vendors. Food: 4/5 Everything I've had here has been very good. I especially like the Sunrise Burrito; it's very tasty, and just the right... More

Started with the homemade English muffin and succulent orange juice and it just kept getting better. French toast and the Huevos outstanding. The clear winner is for the first time properly cooked hash browns, thin and CRISP. WINNER

Stayed at Viceroy Santa Monica so decided to walk to M Street Kitchen for breakfast one day. Very nice meal - it's easy to screw up breakfast, but they do a solid job with it. Tried their homemade English muffins and they were fantastic!

Came here on recommendation and sat outside, mid-week and had brunch. Service okay and good atmosphere. Food won't blow you away but it is good honest food and well priced. All in all a very happy experience and would return. Recommended
