Love the breakfast!!

I stop in there after dropping my son off at high school or on the weekend with a friend after a run. Great breakfast sandwich, great coffee, and great cookies!!!

We got a walk in table on a Friday night which was pretty lucky as it was our first night in SM. The service was great, friendly and fast and the food was really well cooked and delicious. The menu is fairly limited but has the essentials. The choice of drinks was really limited which was a shame, especially the... More

We called here for breakfast. We were seated quite quickly, but the rest was downhill. After given our order, we received our drinks, without the extra water and milk we asked for. Our food eventually arrived. The blueberry pancakes (3) were huge, thick and totally overwhelmed me. I managed a quarter of one! Such a waste! My guests hash browns... More

Had fresh squeezed orange juice (delicious!) and a hashbrown Benedict with bacon. The hash browns were perfectly crispy and the bacon had a brown sugar taste to it. Absolutely amazing!

Was there for happy hour! Pleasantly surprised with the great prices for drinks as well as food. Our group, which included two teens, ordered Fish Tacos, Chicken Nachos, Chicken Tacos and a Cheeseburger. All were delicious! Atmosphere was relaxed but not lazy-- our waitress was spot-on and attentive. Ps. One from our party was gluten-free, the chicken nachos were perfect!... More

On our seven day trip this was by far the best breakfast place. Doesn't get better than breakfast out doors at a place that puts a premium on serving the freshest food. You'll be happy you picked this spot...worth driving to.

We had breakfast here before a day at the beach. The fit-out and atmosphere were nice. The food selection was great and easily catered for our two vegetarians. I had the breakfast tacos and the serving size was huge for $12! The Mexican hash browns were also a hit. Our waitress was very attentive.

M Street is a Gem. The food is fabulous. I loved sitting on the outdoor patio where a fragrant herb garden surrounds the area. Lovely grilled fish, simply prepared was delicious (and very reasonably priced).

I can't say much for the food - it's average and a bit pricey. However, before you leave you MUST stop at their bakery. They have some of the best homemade cookies; my personal favorites are Apple oatmeal, ginger molasses, snickerdoodle and peanut butter brittle. They are most and chewy (very large) and the flavor bursts in your mouth! If... More

This is a great place in Santa Monica for breakfast. I've been there twice on a week trip. I highly recommend the pancakes and the 3 eggs breakfast with bacon. The coffee is alright. Special note on the excellent service. I will return for sure.

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
