We wandered into this restaurant for breakfast. We had a great outdoors table, excellent wait staff, and fabulous food. It was very busy and we understand why.

The place to meet and greet friends. Wonderful get together with our daughter and some friends at this place! Nine of us - they kept us very busy trying all the signature appetizers and various libations! Extraordinary service and fun Sunday afternoon.

This is a solid reliable eatery with just enough upscale attempts to be cool. Outside is the best place on a nice day. Sunday brings out the neighborhood (and their dogs) , and there can be a line. Try the ham, etc. on a croissant for lunch. Great place!!

My friend who lives in SM had heard really good things about this restaurant. For me, it was good, with a few standout bits, but not amazing. Service was great! Wonderful waitress and when I asked for a different table from the hostess, we were redirected immediately, even though we were early for our reservation. Quick waitress, but not hovering.... More

We enjoyed dinner at the M Street Kitchen. It is a bustling restaurant with choices for everyone. Don't miss the bakery counter for delicious cookies and brownies. They also have gluten free cookies!

The food used to be good; not so much any more. The two groups who seem to like it are the 20 year olds. Maybe they come for the booze. And lot's of parents with toddlers at happy hour. If you are not in one of these two groups forget it. Seriously bland uninspired food with service to match.

This place has a fantastic brunch/breakfast menu! There's a bakery connected as well that serves fresh baked goods that are to die for. I love the peanut butter cookies with sea salt. Definitely a must on a Saturday morning. If you want something healthy try the sunrise breakfast burrito. Afterwards, go walk down the street to the Farmer's Market that's... More

Went there for breakfast and loved it. We were four at the table and all left it happy. Many options at a fair price and great taste.

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
