We have been to Huckleberry throughout the years many times before. Their offering varies and you can always bet on their chocolaty offerings. It is never too sweet. Their prices are rising all the time and when you compare it with other good bakeries in different cities, sometimes you feel like, why am I paying so much? I guess as... More

The best thing about Huckleberry used to be their delicious bread that was fresh baked and sliced thick for their tuna sandwiches. Today, the sandwich I ordered came on very thinly sliced what they called multi-grained bread, that tasted no better than store bought bread. When asking them about it, they told me all of their bread comes pre-sliced now... More

Very nice place to have a cuppa, meet old friends, do the community chit chat and a bite to eat at the same time. Location is near to the beach and easily accessible. The cappuccino is not bad and the pastry also fresh and good. Certainly a good place to stop by on your way to some place else.

Huckleberry is probably one of the top breakfast/brunch spots in Santa Monica. Thus be prepared to probably wait up to 30-45minutes to get a sit. But it is definitely worth it once you try one of their hot drinks( highly recommend their cappuccinos!). They have hearty menu but all the food is healthy and you won't stumble on any oily... More

I had Sunday brunch here with some friends who are new LA locals and they were delighted with the find. Terrific options, the baked goods looked decadent and delicious (I'm still regretting not getting the blueberry cornmeal cake to go), and prompt service. Yes, there is a wait in line at midday Sunday, but it moves quickly and it is... More

after eating at Rustic Canyon, my friends suggested Huckleberry Bakery. So glad they did. It is worth the line wait. Food is excellent. We ordered breakfast and took some goodies for the rest of our trip. Great place. Highly recommend!

Great food and good service...but very noisy. Be sure not to miss the Blueberry Cornmeal Cake. It is a fair way from the beach but well worth the trip

Decided to go there for brunch and the wait in line was about 45mins. This place is so popular, even with the locals. The staff is amazing and the food is crazy good, tempting and so much to choose from. So good and delicious..

They had soooo much to choose from. However, I had read a good review on their "Green Eggs & Ham", so I decided to go for it. (Plus, I'm a sucker for anything with Pesto!) It was delicious. (English muffin with prosciutto, sunnyside up eggs, pesto, and arugula.) I thought, at first, that there was too much arugula...as you can... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
