excellent breakfast!

after eating at Rustic Canyon, my friends suggested Huckleberry Bakery. So glad they did. It is worth the line wait. Food is excellent. We ordered breakfast and took some goodies for the rest of our trip. Great place. Highly recommend!

Great food and good service...but very noisy. Be sure not to miss the Blueberry Cornmeal Cake. It is a fair way from the beach but well worth the trip

Decided to go there for brunch and the wait in line was about 45mins. This place is so popular, even with the locals. The staff is amazing and the food is crazy good, tempting and so much to choose from. So good and delicious..

They had soooo much to choose from. However, I had read a good review on their "Green Eggs & Ham", so I decided to go for it. (Plus, I'm a sucker for anything with Pesto!) It was delicious. (English muffin with prosciutto, sunnyside up eggs, pesto, and arugula.) I thought, at first, that there was too much arugula...as you can... More

Loved this place. Totally worth the wait in line. It's not a fancy place, but it does serve delicious food that is sourced thoughtfully and prepared well…if not with a little too much salt and sugar (but that does make stuff tasty…er). Highly recommend.

Sunshine, the Pacific ocean just down the street and astonishing fresh bread, pastries and great main courses make this place a must if you're in Santa Monica. Actually its worth the drive from anywhere in LA. Love this place on Saturday morning.

Go early! The line is often out the back door, but the staff is helpful and works quickly to clear and reset tables as soon as one opens up. This is definitely not a quiet, relaxing café to come and have a leisurely breakfast. Come, enjoy the interesting and tasty varieties, and then move on to allow others to do... More

Great breakfast within a busy and very casual environment. Food is tasty and nicely presented. The Huevos Rancheros were phenomenal. Kind of expensive for breakfast but worthwhile.

Excellent breakfast food. I can't say enough of how fresh the basil pesto was, loved the prosciutto, and the eggs were perfectly over easy and runny... If you want high quality ingredients and a perfect way to start your morning in Santa Monica, then come here. Pricing is reasonable, but not cheap.

My husband and son set up a complete Mother's Day celebration staring at Huckleberry Cafe, we arrive at a perfect time because we just did 15 min on the line to order, we have a brunch menu, and we have the duck confit with eggs, the breakfast sandwich and for my son the cheese eggs and toast, and a Pavlova... Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
