Great vegan food - even cakes!!

What a great place to enjoy a vegan meal. It's all organic, too! I had their "Works Burger" which was delicious, just be aware that the bun is a little on the sweet side. We also had the "chicken pesto sandwich" which is to die for. The salads are excellent as well. We didn't try any of the cakes... read more

My niece and her husband recommended this charming, cozy hideaway. The recommended "Works Burger" lived up to its reputation--so delicious. The spinach and couscous salad was tasty, but not outstanding. The coconut cake, on the other hand was, as they say, "to die for." So moist, this dense flavorful confection was the perfect ending to a memorable meal. Service was... More

Vegan Restaurants are notoriously pricey and this one is no exception. But they're "Works Burger" is fantastic. It's got a wonderful mix of flavors. But drink water if you don't want to pay a lot of money for lunch, the drink menu is expensive.

The food here is really good and there is a nice selection of drinks and smoothies. The deserts are decadent, as they should be. I’ve been here many times and always enjoyed my meal. The service is a little inconsistent, leaning towards slow. The people are very friendly, but the atmosphere is a little too relaxed sometimes and could be... More

This is a very good choice for diner. Menu is extensive, vegan, gluten free dishes, the service was warm, friendly and not pushy. The food was presented in a beautiful manner on the plates and lots of it. Could not finish the meals. Would recommend this place to all and surely we will be back.

This place is on Wilshire, well away from 3rd street promenade. It's a very down to earth kinda place. The food is hearty and filling. Great taste. You MUST try the Hot Maca with soy, cinnamon and of Maca of course. Delish!!! If you value the service of Wifi - they do provide that too.

This little vegan cafe is so awesome and understated. I love everyting about it. Their burgers are famous and they make great little desserts. Another affordable vegan place in Santa Monica.

One of the best vegan restaurants ever! A large menu of delicious looking items. We enjoyed every morsel. The bakery is wonderful too. Best vanilla vegan cupcake extra large for more pleasure. Highly recommend this place.

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
