This is a very busy local restaurant in Santa Maria. The food is good and is reasonably priced. As a fan of non spicy food, what I order is not spicy and very tasty. Since it is a family restaurant it can get loud. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I have eaten there at all meal times and it... More

We went for Birria de Chivo but had to settle for de Res because they only served on Sat and Sun early. Strange for us. They did go out of their way to give us hand made torrillas. Also ordered shrimp enchiladas which were good. It was tasty and worth the $ Service was a little off and slow but... More

First of all, the table we were seated at was dirty, so we asked to be moved. The food had absolutely no flavor I was very disappointed.

This place is not fancy or impressive to look at but the food is good. The prices are super cheap and you get large portions so the taste and cost outweigh the cheesy decor. One of the few Mexican restaurants in Santa Maria that actually has decent food.

After reading the glowing reviews, we were very disappointed with the food here. The place was clean, and the service was good. However, we ordered margaritas, not knowing the restaurant is not licensed for spirits, so we got a concoction of fruit juice with sparkling wine. The food itself was very bland. We come from Los Angeles County where there... More

Nothing fancy about this location; but the wait staff were friendly, prompt, and obviously trying to please. The food was also very good. Ingredients in our two meals were above average. So do not let the down at heel exterior dissuade you from giving this a try if you want a good Mexican meal.

This is a funky restaurant. No frills. Just great food and warm friendly, and quick service. The shrimp fajitas were great. Highly recommended.

I had a nice authentic Mexican meal at El Pueblito. The food is very good, big servings, and tasty - I had a combo with chicken taco, chile relleno, and cheese enchilada. Pretty good chips with really good salsa were complimentary. The service is great - a really friendly place, had a nice family feel. Authentic decor in the restaurant,... More
