Loved this place. The staff was really nice, the fish tacos were great. We shared the ahi tuna ceviche and the ahi tuna wontons and they were both wonderful. more
My husband and I were passing through Santa Cruz on our way home to Los Angeles. We walked by this restaurant and decided to try the food. I had Wasabi Fish Special with Ono. I love the wasabi cream sauce on the fish. The Ono was a bit overcooked, but the menu did say the fish would be cooked blackened.... more
We're locals who've been to Hula's many, many times since they opened. The food is consistently very good, the staff very friendly, great ambiance and reasonable prices. Cocktails are great, too. This is the go-to place for our friends and families (age range 23 to 70!). We spend a lot of time in Hawaii and this is the best place... more

Good food but the staff is on snotty side... is it too much to ask for good food and friendly service? Apparently so there... I will say the service was good, just unfriendly. I more
I have been a couple of different times and just love it more and more. The food is so consistant and amazing... try any of the fish or the steak but I sampled from friends and haven't found a thing I wouldn't recomend! I just love the fun atmosphere and def crave the Mai Tai's! more
If you are seeking a high end Hawaiian fusion dining experience (average entree approx $25.00), by all means, visit Roy's. If you are looking for a moderately priced, quality meal, a nice atomsphere and decent drinks, give it a try. more
