This is our go to place for crispy, carne asada tacos. served with rice and beans as take out can serve two for lunch. Nice little spot, usually lots of people inside eating, and nice hardworking family who run the place. The nachos are excellent. It has been in this location for many years and it won the crispy taco... More

Just a bit off the main street with all the fancy eating and shopping. Find this place and you will be glad you did. First thing you notice is the number of Mexican people Eating here. This may be a family operation. Great service. Food is very fresh. I had two super tacos that were very large. Saw some surf... More

Funny how this restaurant reminds me of restaurants in France, please ot French cooking, and really a working man cafe, but the food is tops over hundreds of mexican restaurants in South Bay/Santa Cruz. It is my lunch restaurant, just outside of downtown, across the intersection from the postoffice. Quiet and good. Discussion of good not held here. Suffice to... More

We found this place and stopped in. It was reasonable priced, great service and food. The only thing missing would be a margarita!

We don't often stop in cheap tiny informal Mexican eateries, but we did here, and we were delighted. Food was very fresh and tasty, service was quick and friendly, and we enjoyed the meal more than we would at many restaurants that would be twice the price.

We had eaten here last year and were glad to find it again, just off the shopping (and high rent, high cost) area on Pacific Avenue. The salsa on the table is truly hot, the chips are fresh. Partner's beef taco was served flat, loaded with filling and yummy. My chile relleno was excellent, the cheese enchilada on my plate... More

Loved the food, was recommended by the clerk from the hotel where we stayed. I really think their food is delicious. The pricing is average, but since the food was great I think it was worth more. Really recommend this place. Staff is friendly. Yumm now I want some food from here. Amber S
