order chicken enchilada, beef taco, rice & beans combination plate & a side of flour tortilla. don't overdo the tortilla chips or you'll be stuffed.

Doris is the owner and remembers EVERYONE'S order. She's amazing, the place is tons of fun, the value is Paramount, and the food will make everyone happy like there local pizza joint. Not fancy totally real and fun.

Very good location, menu, food quality and service. Took left overs back to room for a snack later. Found on Living Social. Will go back.

I loved this restaurant, I had the enchilada verde with rice and beans and it was delicious. Also, the agave margarita was the best I had. I sat in the lounge and they had karaoke night. All of the guest seemed to enjoy all the fun. I love yummy food and entertainment all in one place.

We recently had a delicious dinner at Tampico. Our waitress has worked there 31 years and was extremely helpful in helping us decide what to order. We were not disappointed in her guidance, although, there was way too much food! Chips and salsa were great! I had a winderful chili relleno and chicken enchilda combo. Another guest rated the shrimp... More

I am a California, South Bay native, and lived in Santa Cruz for 5 years. I absolutely LOVE Tampico. Doris, Debra and Rob have been running this jewel for as long as I've known, and I am never disappointed. Yes, it is located near the bus stop, yes it is at the "shady" end of Pacific Ave., and yes it's... More

Wow! We couldn't get back to the hotel fast enough after eating at this dismal little place. I missed a night out I became so ill. Thankfully we recovered by the next day or our vacation would have been ruined!

Well priced menu selections with lots of choices. My brother and sister-in-law live in Santa Cruz, and this is one of their favorite restaurants.
