I recently visited Zoccoli's with my daughter and her boyfriend, after saying I was in the mood for a good sandwich. They told me that this little Italian deli was their go-to place for sandwiches. It was a Saturday afternoon, and the place was busy, but the staff was very friendly and patient with this first timer, and the sandwich... More

This is a great place for lunch. They have really fresh and good Italian food. We sat outside and it was seriously busy there, so it took a while for our choices to be prepared. Ordering was easy; paying is what I was in a queue for for 15 minutes or so. The food more than made up for it... More

I was looking around for a place to pick up something for dinner around 6 pm on Pacific. Found this great delicatessen on the street. Great selection of items. I chose the meatball sandwich. It was so delicious. Sat outside and enjoyed Santa Cruz's unique ambiance. The price was reasonable and the staff was friendly. I would definitely go back.

Big, tasty, italian style sandwich. Didn't knock my socks off, but you could taste each of the ingredients and everything seemed fresh and high quality. Consider splitting a sandwich if you haven't been surfing all day and worked up a pretty good hunger.

Good modern day deli but swung and missed with the "old school" Italian. I can't recall visiting an Italian deli without mortadella. Macaroni salad was way overlooked and soggy.

Awesome place to stop in for sandwiches when you're on your way out to the beach. When you come in, grab a ticket number at the front counter and wait to be called. Outdoor patio area is a nice place to enjoy your sammich but fills up pretty quick so have someone in your group stake out a table while... More

I was a bit skeptical about stopping at a deli for lunch since I am vegan, but was pleasantly surprised with a lot of vegan/veg options on their menu! The sandwich was great and we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine!

We stumbled on this place while walking the streets of downtown Santa Cruz, and are glad that we did! This is a clean deli with a varied assortment of interesting hot and cold sandwiches, salads, etc. Pull a ticket at the counter, wait your turn, and place your order. They will call your number when your order is ready. Husband... More

I was looking for a quick lunch and stopped by this deli. It is more than your basic deli. I wanted something healthy so I ordered the grilled chicken and eggplant sandwich. It was fresh, clean, perfectly prepared, and just downright delicious.

Our party of four recently stopped in at Zoccoli's for a moderately late (1:30 pm) weekday lunch on our trip along the coast. Three of us had made to order cold sandwiches; the fourth member of our party had a cold sandwich that was already made and wrapped for sale. We were lucky enough to snag the last empty table...
