Third perfect visit. OK, OK, 515 you have won me over. I generally prefer the deck (feels more casual) but it was totally packed last night so we opted for a spot at the upstairs bar. The tender was knowledgeable, professional, helpful without being in our faces. Food came quickly and, once again, was EXCELLENT. This time: the burger w/truffle... More

Met up with a friend here. Loved the whole bit. Nice, classy yet relaxed environment. Good music. Delicious cocktails - the cucumber aperol refresher (?) [you'll find it] is a must try! The cheese plate is fun. Loved it!

We selected 515 Kitchen and cocktails because our favorite Santa Cruz restaurant was closed. It turned out to be a wonderful coincidence. The youthful staff (to patrons in their 60's like us) exhibited a level of professionalism, promptness and attitude rare to these parts. The ambience was somewhat subdued, even cozy, but there was activity and energy without the noise... More

My sister took us here when we were visiting her. We sat outside on a chilly evening (thanks for the heaters!) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great menu, both for food and drinks. The waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Especially during the winter, this is a cozy romantic hide-a-way with great cocktails and food. We plan to head there for New Years before the fireworks. Salmon is a favorite dish, but everything is great. Make reservations on the weekends for sure.

We went there for our adult daughter's birthday. They have a very imaginative cocktail menu, and good small plates. We sat upstairs on a corner couch with small, low tables. Busy, but not too noisy. There is also an outdoor heated balcony. The small plates, such as crab cakes, lamb kebabs, and grilled artichokes, were quite tasty. The French fries... More

We had a nice time here with some friends local to Santa Cruz. Each small plate we ordered was very tasty. The cocktail menu is extensive, and they also have an excellent beer selection. We sat upstairs at smaller tables, in a lounge area. Unfortunately, the couch my husband and I sat on was a little stinky. It detracted a... More

Food was plated and served nicecly. Staff friendly, food flavorful and good. The decor was HORRIBLE because the upholstery was filthy in the dining and coctail areas. Carpet caked with yuck and the visible kitchen was really gross. Don't go until sanitation is upscaled.

Located in a formet family house this restaurant is worthwhile to go to. The audience is merely young and noisy. Low key Californian atmosphere and attentive staff. Looking around it gives the feeling of lounge in a retro style. Dark colours and purple curtains represent to us the time of the 60-ties. Tables are small and close to one another... More

Try the pork tenderloin or steak buvette for dinner, trouffled fries on the side and after dinner drinks at their beautiful bar!
