We chose Stagnara Bros Seafood because of the family history and significance of the area. When we first entered the door and requested a table, the hostess asked us to go upstairs and someone would seat us. We went upstairs, were greeted, then sat near a window. It was absolutely freezing! We requested to have the heat turned up, but... More

I never miss a chance to visit the walk up counter at seafood market. A crab cocktail, and the snapper sandwich without the bread. Low cal and delicious. No fishy taste. No place like that where I live. Friendly, fast, and fresh.

We just went here for lunch with a party of twelve. We had every thing from appetizers to chowder to full meals. Everything was great. I highly recommend the clams. With a large party, we were expecting to wait for our food. Instead, everything came up quickly and was delicious. The service was fast and friendly.

Beautiful fish and pastas, very fresh and excellently prepared. They have a large seafood market outside the restaurant so, there is no excuse for not having fresh fish and, it is. If you want seafood in Santa Cruz, this is the place to go.

We visited this restaurant with a group of 22 after a tour of the redwoods. We were in a private back room that accommodated us all. An outside view of the Wharf and beach. Very confined, noisy and hard to hear. Service was very good. We had 4 or 5 taking care of us. I had the fish combo platter.... More

Stagnaro Bros Seafood is historic to Santa Cruz Wharf. Locals love it and visitors, too. Enjoy the weekly specials and the ocean views.

11/9--celebrated a birthday and on a very foggy and cold evening we decided on fresh fish for dinner. Located at the end of the Santa Cruz Wharf and very popular with the locals and tourists. Can get noisy because they are quite busy. The staff is friendly and provide good service. Hot clam chowder included with dinner and just hit... More

You're at the beach so you have to have seafood. Stagnaro Brothers has been in the are for many, many years. There are a lot of seafood restaurants on the Santa Cruz pier, but we're glad we happened to pick this one.

An ad in the Santa Cruz Sentinel said "$10.95 cioppino except on holidays and weekends". Went there Monday 11/10/14. We were told "Owner decided that this a holiday too, since tomorrow is Veterans Day". We ate down the street at Fire Fish.

I have eaten in the restraint, not the same. the cooks outside seem to know just what... More
