Whether eating in the restaurant - with great views of the harbor or taking advantage of the walk-up food - it's all a winner. Nice to have the option of a variety of foods at the walk-up area - I love the fried clams to carry over to the pier and eat.

Have been dining at Stagnaro's since I was a child. My favorite place on the Wharf! Staff is great and food is always consistently good. Great Bartender named Bill!!

Have eaten lunch and dinner at Stagnaro Bros a number of times, and have always had a good meal. They also have awesome Bloody Mary's, so ask for the house special with Pepper Vodka. Good views of point and surfers, especially if you sit on the 2nd floor that has windows all the way around. Also good and attentative service.... More

This is a tourist restaurant and with just a little bit more effort on quality this could be top notch. The Clam Chowder was ordinary and my grilled snapper was overcooked. The wine list was suited to the menu but not memorable. We ate upstairs and the kitchen is downstairs which means that there is a timing issue on getting... More

wow great food and the bread b4 the meal you'll want to take some home. The shrimp and crab sandwich is very good. The clam chowder (white) is a must order item!!! I don't think you could wrong with any item on the menu. The view out either side is good.

Food was ok. I had been eagerly looking forward to fresh crab but they served it cold with lemon and butter and a small cup of soup or salad. Hubby and friend had their steak sandwich. Was hoping for a fresh cooked crab like i have in San Francisco. This was ok, not my favorite but not too bad. Yummy... More

This is at the end part of the Santa Cruz Wharf/Pier and it's 'sister' establishments (at least they bear the same name) are Gilda's and the open butcher/seafood market/ counter, also on the wharf. You just cannot be unhappy here, whether day or night! Service is with huge smiles and they are as quick, efficient, helpful as possible. Bartenders pour... More

We are from the east coast, so we are picky about our seafood. The fish tacos and fried scallops were tasty, well seasoned, and good portions. We sat outside and watched the sun set which was lovely as long as the seagulls didn't get too close! The service was slow and not very attentive. It's a family owned business that's... More

We visited the restaurant. The food was great as always. The crew is not like the old crew. We were not made to feel welcome at all in the upper deck. The service is not the same and the friendly atmosphere is mostly gone. Made to feel like be glad we are taking time to serve you. Rude seems to... More
