If you are heading to Santa Cruz, this place is a must. The food is amazing. Got to do it. It looks like a family establishment. We had 4 things on the menu. It was all wonderful

Good, cheap, easy, relaxed. Able to take our dog. The service was quick and friendly. We were able to sit outside and people watch. It felt perfectly "Santa Cruz."

I was definitely disappointed by this experience. The veggie burger tasted like the one they sell at Burger King, but for twice the price. My sweet potato fries were super soggy, like thy had been sitting under the heat lamp for awhile. And the water glasses were super dirty. In their defense, the person I was with said their BBQ... My family of 5 just finished a nice long day at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. We were tired and hungry and didn't want pizza and burgers. While driving back to our hotel in Capitola, we came across this restaurant since it's on a corner and stands out with the green building and tropical foilage. We usually buy from the... More

Living on Oahu I eat the best and the worst plate lunches, poke, and spam musubi. I have been going with my family when I visit for years. They have remain consistant. Last visit I had poke and a spam musubi. It's hard to mess us the musubi, I liked the poke although I would have liked to see it... More

The beef teriyaki plate was so goooood! It was seasoned well, tender and not overly sweet or salty. I love the hawaiian beverage choices. I will be back for more.

Good Hawaiian Island style grill in Santa Cruz. Laid back island/surfer vibe. Lots of Hawaiian beer signs, surfboards hanging on the ceiling and a couple of impressively large Tiki statues, and a nice little bamboo garden with a couple of black iron patio tables if you want to eat outside. The food is great! Kahlua pork was tender and tasted... More

I would have given this place excellent if the sauce had been made with fresh fruit instead of canned. The fish was prepared perfectly and then the sauce was over sweet because of the canned pineapple and papaya--SO disappointed. I scraped off the sauce. We were seated in the back room and was very grateful. The front room adjoins the... More
