Off The Beaten Path Great Place - A Favorite with Local Fisherman, Students and Surfers

This "locals place" has been around for a long time. Good menu and quality of food with lots of character. Can feel cramped on the inside, so I recommend asking for an outside table, but make sure you can get some shade because this is located in the Santa Cruz Banana Belt. Wait staff is... read more

Located just blocks from Twin Lakes Beaches -- as opposed to being downtown or on the wharf -- this neighborhood café is a favorite among locals, while also welcoming tourists staying at local inns and summer cottages. The menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are varied, including healthy options like egg whites only; whole grains; and vegetarian choices. After an... More

This place is excellent!!! Such a great atmosphere, amazing patio, fabulous morning cocktails and really good food. Come early on the weekends because it gets packed! The service started terribly with a horrendous woman named Jericca who we thought was our server but wouldn't even answer questions. Then Lindsay arrived who was a breath of fresh air - so friendly... More

Great breakfast/lunch spot a few blocks from Santa Cruz beach in the Twin Lakes Park neighborhood. Nine of us enjoyed a variety of breakfast options. This place has a Tiki Bar that's very popular on Friday and Saturday nights. Enjoyed our experience!

Harbor Cafe is a quaint breakfast restaurant with wonderful, rustic beach decor and some of the best breakfast dishes we’ve ever tasted: pancakes dripping with delicious ‘sticky sweet stuff’, fresh fruit, and eggs Benedict that rival any we’ve tasted before. The servers were friendly and helpful, and they all looked like somewhere nearby their surfboards were stashed and waxed, ready... More

Great spot for breakfast. Stopped in and everything was good. Wait was less than 5 minutes for a table. Sat outside and listened to some excellent tunes while we enjoyed breakfast. I had a shrimp omelet that was excellent, and the bloody marys were top notch. Would definitely go back.

Yep the frittata's here are the bomb! If you go it is a little divey and many hung over folks on the weekends and there will be a wait but the frittata is worth it!

This place has an amazing selection of egg dishes for breakfast. If you like eggs it's one of those places where you will want to order everything. There options for sweet breakfasts are less impressive but that obviously isn't their thing. My banana pancakes had no bananas in them. We went on a Tuesday so didn't see the crowds most... More
