Great location, nice view, but.....

We heard that the crab and shrimp enchiladas were excellent so that's what we ordered and they lived up to the review...much enjoyed. Watched the sun set, which was really nice. Service was OK. Other food items were OK, but cleanliness (particularly the bathrooms) was abyssmal - we were on off... read more

On the first night of our vacation we tried the price fix menu. The view was wonderful and we had no complaints about the margaritas. The food was a disappointment. We ordered the corn tamales which were raw... The masa was literally runny. People at the next table had same problem. To their credit, they brought us another portion, but... More

At the end of the day it's hard to imagine anywhere with better views. From upstairs near the end of the wharf you can see the sun setting, the boardwalk lighting up and the ocean reflecting it all back. We turned up without a reservation and were given a large open booth around an oval table in the upstairs restaurant... More

This is a very beautiful location, and so is is a fine place for drinks and maybe some appetizers. Salads are okay too. Stay away from the entrees. They are expensive and just not that good. It is not even close to being authentic Mexican food. You are better off going to El Palomar, which is not that authentic either,... More

We happened upon this spot because everywhere else had over an hour wait (on the pier). It happens to be almost the last restaurant on the pier - upstairs! Do yourself a favor and GO HERE! It's worth the wait! The prices are reasonable, the servers are super friendly, and most of all, the FOOD is AMAZING!!! We live in... More

The staff was very accommodating of food allergies and brought the manager over to confirm our needs. The food was fresh and delicious. A very creative bartender made our daughters virgin Guavaritas. The view of sailboats and fishermen was incredible as it sits towards the end of the pier.

Food to spicey and too expensive. Most expensive Mexican restaurant I have ever been in, and not worth it. And their homemade pasta is purposely adante! Tough and chewy and thick. View nice. Service fine. But will not return.

This place starts with what is without a doubt one of the best views of Santa Cruz. Sitting at a table by the window at sunset, watching the sea lions and otters play in the protected waters of the Monterey Bay directly below, you also get to enjoy an awesome menu that offers a mix of traditional Mexican, sea food,... My boyfriend and I have eaten here before in May 2010 and the service was really good and the food was good, so we decided to visit again on our next trip to Santa Cruz. It wasn't busy when we went, still being the off season, so we were seated right away. Our server brought us water, and we both... More

This is a small shack so you eat outside on picnic benches. You can look through holes in the warf down to seals laying on the beams and swimming around in the water below. There are usually an asortment of birds hanging around too from pelicans, pigeons and seagulls. You do have to pay to park on the warf though... More
