Stopped in with a few friends for drinks. It was such a lively fun atmosphere and had a fabulous view!!! We only had appetizers and drinks but it was a good time and good food! It is a bit loud if you are upstairs but it was a weekend and there was a band that night. The dining room was... More

We left Kelly's French Bakery (no atmosphere and rude service) and came to the Crow's Nest for lunch. Great views of the water. We ate upstairs and the food was very good. Generous portions and service was outstanding. Very pleasant afternoon.

This restaurant has a fantastic view of the harbor. It was relaxing watching the sailboats go by. I ordered a prawn salad that was excellent. The prawns wee cooked perfect, the salad also had strawberries and hazelnuts. My only complaint was parking difficult and they do not validate. Make sure you have extra time to look for parking if you... More

We love this place. The food was perfect! I had an ahi salad that was really good and we got a nacho appetizer that was amazing. The beer I got was good too. We sat outside, with a nice breeze and view. They gave the kids some crazyons and paper, and when they were done, they got to pick a... More

The location is excellent. Right on the water. I thought the prices were expensive for their main dinner entrees. We ended up having a bowl of clam chowder and the salad bar. The chowder was excellent. I think next time I'll be looking for a more "local" place. Aldo's across the harbor looked interesting.

We stopped here for lunch on the way to Los Gatos. What a great surprise. Our first visit here was a very positive experieince. Great food, fresh fish, wonderful views of the bay and excellent service make this a highly recommended choice for dining.

We have been going here for years and am not sure what has happened to the service and food but it's not what it use to be! We have always enjoyed an end to our day at the beach with a few drinks and dinner upstairs before our long drive home. But last Sat.July 5th was awful ! it was... More

The Crows nest is a very popular long time Santa Cruz restaurant. I love to eat here, sit outside and watch the boats go by. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience here last night. I ordered the Ahi tuna salad, and the Ahi was rancid! I took my first bite and almost puked! I thought it looked kinda strange in... More

hard to put into simple words...I travel and get to eat at a lot of independent (non chain) restaurants of all styles, price ranges, and settings. In ten years of recent travel, easily a top ten for overall setting, service, food offering, originality and value. Visited during mid week before July4th with wife and three older daughters (19-26)...my daughter and... More
