Management needs to ensure that the bathrooms are clean-they were extremely dirty, not acceptable especially for a food establishment-we would not return.

Fresh, fun and fantastic was my experience at Zacharys. Its a local breakfast place with great ambiance. The tangerine juice was fresh and yummy and the fritata was exquisite. The fried potatoes had great flavors from the herbs and onions. Great value.

Nice place in downtown area. Menu original items like pesto scramble and artichoke fritatta . Lots of choices such as fresh fruit substitute for potatoes without adding to price. Orange juice is fresh squeezed and yummy. We really enjoyed this place and would go back.

We did a 2.5 week tour of California visiting San Fran, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, San Diego and LA. This place did the best breakfast we had whilst there. Its busy so you need to wait but its worth it. The food is excellent, the choice large and waiting staff, friendly and super efficient. Would not hesitate to re-visit or... More

If you like a crap load of onions in your potatoes and corned beef hash made out of ham then this your spot. Waiter was more interested in my wife's eye shadow than our food. My wife said she didn't like onion so to leave out greens onions which they did but everything else had reg onions in it. The... More

what's not to love about a big open room, wooden floors, relaxed servers and a great - - truly great - - breakfast menu. I had a super frittata -- creamy, cheesy and with local artichokes. Super home fries and a great jalapeno corn bread. Clearly popular with locals and tourists alike.

A local resident took me and my 3 teenagers here for breakfast on a Friday AM. Zachary's is in an old early 1900s building in downtown Santa Cruz, away from the touristy Boardwalk. The sour dough pancakes were really good, and I NEVER order pancakes for breakfast, because I need my protein fix. BUT, these were served with 2 eggs,... More

I really like this place. It's unpretentious, simple, and a little outdated, but that's what makes this place charming. The food came really quickly, the service was good, the food no-frills but yummy. No fancy drinks here, just coffee, but it was a great meal for the price!

We went there as a family and let me tell you, service was great and the food was better. Everything was so fresh the bread was wonderful. SOOOOO fresh. We will be back when we return.
