We had lunch here on Labor Day Weekend. The peach and almond salad was excellent, as was the Chicken Salad Sandwich. Having been here before for a beach volleyball tournament, it was great to be able to promise my senior parents a very good lunch. Thank you, Picnic Basket. I will be back!! Served the best egg salad sandwich I ever had. I also tried other dishes and they were excellent as well!

The prices are a little high, but a suppose its due to the proximity of the beach. I tried the grilled cheese, and it was good; noting special though - the pepper jam, on the other side, was really, really good.

Went here for lunch. It is right opposite the beach. Food was great, really fresh, and wasn't expensive. Would definitely recommend.

A real treat to find such great proper food made from really good fresh ingredients. Well worth seeking out, not that it's hard to find - just a few minutes from the main boardwalk and just by the pier.

This was right down the steps from our room at Beach Street Inn & Suites. We had the best fresh squeezed orange juice ever and some delicious Goldilocks Hot Cereal. It was a charming place with friendly staff. We enjoyed talking with a young couple from the Netherlands and watching a mother with her two little boys who were definitely... More

Great coffee in a great atmosphere. Service a bit slow depending on the time of day but worth the wait.

There seems to be a severe shortage of non-tourist-trap type restaurants on the Santa Cruz boardwalk, but this cafe/restaurant was perfect. Rustic style (i.e. beer served out of Ball jars or similar) it had a really great selections of sandwiches and salads. Our kids got some modified BLTs and my husband and I tried a sandwich and salad. All was... More
