I was looking for something easy, not touristy, and delicious and, OH, and inexpensive too! Tall order, but this fit the bill perfectly. Delicious, fresh food, one of the best chocolate malted shakes I've ever had, and great service. Did I mention it is located across the street from the ocean. What a combo! Parking was really the only downside.

Freshest & healthiest food anywhere around the boardwalk. We had 2 breakfast burritos and they were huge and packed with pickled cabbage, beans, eggs, green chili sauce etc... they also have great Verve coffee and home made ice cream. The only con is it took forever to get our food - but we enjoyed sitting outside and people watching while... More

A nice fresh chicken salad sandwich that was tasty. You do not get any condiments with it except a slice of carrot. It's a small busy place and seating is mostly outside on small stools. Be sure to bring a hat on a hot day. Service was very friendly and courteous.

I stopped in to the picnic basket for lunch and I had a very pleasant experience. The clerk was very friendly and recommended the chicken salad. It was delicious and so was the iced tea. I sat outside to eat and saw humpback whales in the water from my seat! I also got a delicious bowl of ice cream to... More

This place is right in the heart of tourist land, but the food is actually really good. We stopped in to get food to take back to the hotel after all day at the boardwalk and all enjoyed our fare. And, it was reasonably priced! (And not deep fried… affordable often means unhealthy when you are traveling with kids.)

The latte I had was excellent. My husband enjoyed his breakfast burrito and the jam that came with the toast was to die for delicious. The place is uber casual. You order and pick up your drinks--food is delivered to the table. There are tables outside as well.

This was a cool and rainy morning disappointment. Stopped for breakfast and got bitter coffee, an over-cooked ham and cheese croissant, and an "under-endowed" breakfast burrito. Billed as containing egg, cheese, cabbage and pinto beans, the actual burrito had lots of cabbage and beans with a whiff of egg and cheese.

It was a drizzly morning and they werent quit open but they let us have coffee until they opened and we had a good bkf. A man on a bike who apparently was a regular advised us to stop to see the redwoods on our way to livermore. We did and enjoyed it so much.

Sandwiches at this place are delicious and innovative. The outside seating area is nice (you'll be sitting right in front of the public restrooms, but hey, to your left is the ocean, enjoy!) We'll be back for more sandwiches and ice cream!
