Everything was fantastic. Yummy sandwiches and ice cream for desert. Nice staff and fair prices. Casual, eat in or take it with you.

First off, this place appears to always be busy, and to add it is small, so the place is crammed when it is busy. The way I see it, it is because it has good sandwiches right at the beach front. Order lunch and take it down to the beach... easy. The food is really good and the young people... More

Forever waiting for food and it isn't even that busy the hot drinks were nothing to write home about. Defiantly try somewhere else.

We stop by Santa Cruz on the way to Napa valley and had a little picnic by the beach. Bought the picnic salad and chicken avacado sandwich to go for our beach picnic..even the kids loved it.

Friendly helpful staff, good cookies, ice cream and pastries (didn't try anything else but think anything here would be great). Seems like most everything was made from scratch. Loved it!

We stayed at the Beach Street Inn, right upstairs, so we had breakfast here a few times. The breakfast burrito, morning cake and turnovers were amazing...and very reasonably priced. We decided to try the Ideal Bar & Grille for breakfast on our last day and -- although there was a better view -- it couldn't compare to the taste and... More

Stopped by for a quick sandwich and salad which were both good. Thought the salad was best. Service was quick and seats were available at the front. Would definitely go back.

If you want a great sandwich try this place. Unusual blend of traditional and California flare. Try the Ruben has carrots and spinach along with sauerkraut on the side. Not what you would expect but a surprisingly great presentation. Not much seating room is the only drawback

Near the beach, this is open early and has nice fresh baked goods for breakfast. Good cup of coffee. Young crew was running the place and they were upbeat. One of the food preparers took such great care with the presentation of the food that it was clear he is a perfectionist. Would definitely go back if in town again.

Amidst all the sugary junk food at the beach and boardwalk in Santa Cruz, is a slice of organic and healthy heaven. The Picnic Basket is the perfect choice when your diet asks you to steer clear of carbs and sugar. This place features locally grown produce and the salads and sandwiches are super good. I don't know how they... More
