We were in a hurry and I am from the east. That being said I had a level of anxiety waiting for our food before our kayaking. I had a vanilla latte that I could not get enough of. I should have ordered a second. The breakfast burrito was not the same beans and eggs. It was spicy with a... More

Great cure of ingredients and food but way too pricey and way too slow. Portions are also quite small

This place has great food. And is such a breath of fresh air from the rest of the strip. The service was awesome and they're icecream place is awesome too. Highly recommend.

We came here for lunch after a friend's recommendation. The service was great - the blonde smiley man was super friendly! We ordered the picnic basket salad and Reuben sandwich. They were delicious. The only criticism was the long wait and it was quite pricey for a sandwich joint. But it's a great lunch spot anyway.

We hit the place for breakfast very limited menu but very good. Fresh coffee and pastries with some cooked items. Menu looked good for lunch and a LOT of people were getting it to take to the beach. Great location and more of a locals/tourist spot as opposed to straight up tourist.

Have these people ever heard of a FAN? Hotter than the gates of Hades inside and took forever to get our order in. Then, to top things off they forgot our granddaughter's mac & cheese which took yet another eternity to fix.

We came here for breakfast- I didn't think there were too many options, they forgot part of our order, and the portions weren't too big so we left hungry. The mocha I had was pretty good though.

We were riding our bikes around Santa Cruz when we came upon this great little restaurant. The sandwiches we had were very fresh and tasty. Loaded with fresh greens and the bread of very fresh too. They do take there time to make sure the sandwiches looked and taste very good. Very happy we found this place. I had the... More

I stayed right above The Picnic Basket at the Beach Street Inn over the Holiday weekend. We had coffee here and breakfast once. The staff was not friendly at all and it was almost like a problem that we ordered anything. We were basically interrupting them from recapping the night before with their co-workers. The breakfast burrito was ok.... it... More
