Great coffee in a great atmosphere. Service a bit slow depending on the time of day but worth the wait.

There seems to be a severe shortage of non-tourist-trap type restaurants on the Santa Cruz boardwalk, but this cafe/restaurant was perfect. Rustic style (i.e. beer served out of Ball jars or similar) it had a really great selections of sandwiches and salads. Our kids got some modified BLTs and my husband and I tried a sandwich and salad. All was... More

We were in a hurry and I am from the east. That being said I had a level of anxiety waiting for our food before our kayaking. I had a vanilla latte that I could not get enough of. I should have ordered a second. The breakfast burrito was not the same beans and eggs. It was spicy with a... More

Great cure of ingredients and food but way too pricey and way too slow. Portions are also quite small

We came here for lunch after a friend's recommendation. The service was great - the blonde smiley man was super friendly! We ordered the picnic basket salad and Reuben sandwich. They were delicious. The only criticism was the long wait and it was quite pricey for a sandwich joint. But it's a great lunch spot anyway.

We hit the place for breakfast very limited menu but very good. Fresh coffee and pastries with some cooked items. Menu looked good for lunch and a LOT of people were getting it to take to the beach. Great location and more of a locals/tourist spot as opposed to straight up tourist.

Have these people ever heard of a FAN? Hotter than the gates of Hades inside and took forever to get our order in. Then, to top things off they forgot our granddaughter's mac & cheese which took yet another eternity to fix.

We came here for breakfast- I didn't think there were too many options, they forgot part of our order, and the portions weren't too big so we left hungry. The mocha I had was pretty good though.
