I usually do not eat vegan, however our daughter suggested we eat at the cafe. The service was good, portions were large and satisfying, the food was great and reasonable priced. We enjoyed the meal, service and the atmosphere.

this is a cool place. The food is wonderful. Lots of variety, vegan and interesting. You want to read everything. The names of the dishes are definitely in tune with the values of the people running it. They are sending out some good vibrations from this place.

It is hard to find vegan food even in Santa Cruz.. I tried this restaurant when they first opened and was not that impressed but recently tried it again. I am very happy I did. I had the vegan tacos which were very tasty. The black beans were delicious. I also had the hot fudge sundae which was great. I... More

Excellent healthy, nourishing vegetarian food. Veggie lentil soup of the day was delicious, I also ordered a veggie bowl with tahini sauce (heaven!) and the husband ordered the tacos and a side of potatoes which we liked very much as well! Must go back!!

Awful and expensive coffee served in a ridiculously big cup with no choice of size. It didn't taste like there was any actual coffee mixed in with my "home made almond milk".

While traveling through Santa Cruz on vacation, my friend selected this restaurant for lunch. I submitted and am I ever glad. The menu is entertaining and informative, clean, nice staff, smoothies to die for, and one terrific BLT (bacon substituted with coconut flakes). We had a great time and dropped big bucks but well worth it.

Loved the menu titles. Ordered 2 different items - "I am Extraordinary" which was the BLT - way too spicy. Additionally, the "I am Transparent" item, which was 2 corn tacos - the seasoning was perfect. However, the corn tacos are messy to handle - once the tacos get wet by the toppings they disintegrate into your hands. Overall, a... More

Some of the worst food EVER!!!!!!! The whole experience was terrible! Our server was VERY impatient and scowled at every question we asked like she was very annoyed and bothered by them....and us! The 'BLT' was disgusting - for lack of a better taste description. It was a piece of lettuce, a slice of tomato and some toasted coconut sprinkled... More

I've been a vegetarian for over thirty years and perhaps my hopes were too high but I was very disappointed with this mediocre but healthy food. My husband and I ordered the raw soup which was so full of cayenne pepper he sent it back as inedible. Our main courses were decent but he spicing was also off. Our waitress... More

Liked the menu concept of labeling the dishes with positive affirming titles. For Vegans probably a good restaurant. For the Omnivore's among us, not so good. Ordered the "BLT". Had the L & T alright, but the fake B was definitely lacking. I was expecting the look and taste of bacon, but got a mishmash of toasted coconut and maple.... More
