We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here the other night. The service was attentive, the food came quickly, and we all had tasty entrees. The entrees came with a number of sides, so there was plenty of food to enjoy. Just enough background noise that we didn't have to worry about the kids being too loud or disruptive to other diners.... More

The Greek has excellent food and wonderful, attentive service. Family owned and operated, that approach comes through in the quality of the food, friendly service and even the live music. We had a couple of appetizers, an extra order of homemade pita bread and bowls of the lemon chicken soup, a chicken salad (chicken breast on top of a Greek... More

True to the Mediterranean tradition, with recipes learned from his mother, Vasili offers fresh and tasty items on a large menu. He is not only the owner and cook, but all the art work on the walls is his, consisting of dozens of drawings of Greek subjects, mostly portraits. Live music is offered on some nights. I eat here often.... More

The food here is fantastic, best Greek in town. It is a family run establishment so the food and the service is great. The portions are huge, which is great because I go home with dinner for the next night every time I dine here. Try the tzatziki. It's amazing.

Wow what a find. We went in to try an authentic Greek plate. They started us off with the chicken, lemon soup....amazing. Then moved to small Greek salads, then the lamb chop dinner which was to die for. Very juicy and full of flavor. Cooked just right because lamb can get chewy or the smell can be over powering if... Really tasty food, plentiful portions, boisterous friendly atmosphere, usually crowded, entertainment sometimes, come-as-you-are setting whether beach or concert, what's not to like about this informal place...unless for some reason you wouldn't like Greek/Mediterranean cooking. Good value but not inexpensive. No outside seating, no view (except of kitchen), no intimate booths, bring a family, find your parking on the street or... More

Its really true that it tastes like all the food here is very tangy and lemony. But I happen to LOVE tangy, lemony Greek food, so to me it tastes great. They make their own delicious (if not waist improving) bread which is served generously with every meal, and they have unusual and apparently authentic Greek dishes as well as... More

When Vasili sold the original Vasili's on Mission Street a few years ago it was a sad day for those of us who were his regulars. The new owners kept up the look and feel and the recipes, yet it was not quite the same without our bearded Greek in the kitchen and lighting cheese afire in the dining room.... More
