We hadn't been to Santa Cruz in years, but remembered eating here way back then. It was still the same great service and food, yummy omelets, giant pancakes and a club sandwich for our non-breakfast eater. Drinks were always full and I love the Trivial Pursuit cards to kill time with, not that it took that long for our food... More

Came here after a long drive, late at night and were surprised to see it rather busy. Service was prompt and our next surprise was the rather eclectic menu as it offers a decent vegetarian options as well as vegan choices. Most diners play scant attention to non meat eaters. The food arrived promptly and our server was attentive. My... More

We ate here because of other positive reviews and a fairly varied menu. We enjoyed it the first night that we came back again. Service was good and both times (different people) they actually seemed interested and spoke to you in a customer friendly connecting way. Portions were a good size and the price fair. The menu also offered a... More

We were staying within walking distance so we decided to give it a try. The reuben was great and my son enjoyed the clam chowder bread bow. We went back later that night. My wife had the french toast but she wasn't impressed. I ordered biscuits and gravy with sausage and eggs. The biscuit must have been left over from... More

Reliable for Club Sandwich. Desserts looked inviting. Service efficient. Casual and good for tired travelers. Two blocks from Quality Inn and just a bit farther for other chain hote.s

Drove by recognised the place from the TV show Diners, Drive - ins, and Dives. So did a u - turn and so glad we did, great food and great portions. Everything you could want from an eclectic menu ranging from the American standards to seafood, vegetarian and Asian. The best Diner we visited on our roadtrip.

Decorated with all the old signage and an old juke box. It was great. The staff was soooo friendly. Waitresses polite, helpful and anticipated your needs. Recommend the clam chowder.

It's a diner; grilled cheese, French fries, eggs, burgers, shakes, salads, and everything else. However, one thing made this diner stand out. The Mickey Mouse chocolate chip pancakes. The chocolate was the perfect amount cooked in this light fluffy, moist and absolutely delicious tasting pancake. No syrup necessary. It was divine.

The food was pretty average by diner standards, the most notable aspect of the Diner was the atmosphere, really nice place. The service was good, but it took a while for food to arrive. Cannot hold it against them much though as it was quite busy when we got there. Other than that, isn't much to say.
