We visited a couple times when we used to live nearby. I wish we had gone more often! The sushi chefs were amazing and their sushi was very fresh and tasted amazing. Also ordered the sukiyaki which comes in a huge bowl that was enough to feed 2 people. It also was delicious. The service is excellent and would highly... More

We started out ordering from the Sushi selections on the dinner menu, which is about a dozen or two selections on the main menu, and separate from the Sushi menu that they also provide. Wow, I don't know how anyone can go wrong with any of those selections. We started out on our own, and after watching the Jiro film,... More

If you love sushi and Japanese food, you cannot do better than Maru. The head sushi chef is inventive, takes suggestions and requests, and the food is always of the highest quality. It's a small place in the Town Center so it doesn't get loud and though there is a wait during peak lunch and dinner hours, it's not a... More

Best food, Sushi style or fusion, in the SCV. Great weekday Early Bird discounts on appetizer and wine. Service attentive, not intrusive; no rush to turn over a table. Food menu interesting for any adult palate. When wine specials are available, great deal. Mix and match menus. Reservations necessary on Fri-Sat.

Staff was great and the spicy tuna was out of this world! Its a small place and fills up quickly, but its worth the wait. On the night we went it got busy very quickly.

This was an excellent find in a town overloaded by chain restaurants. My family and I were looking for a good meal after a day at six flags. This is one of the best sushi restaurants that I have been to. Very fresh with an excellent selection, and the homemade desserts were amazing. Yes, it is a bit pricey but... More

Our family ate here after a day at magic mountain. We were looking for an escape from all of the chain restaurants in town and were lucky to find Maru. Excellent sushi, very fresh and lots of variety. We also tried a couple of non-Japanese appetizers and they were also exceptional. Yes it is pricey, but worth it for high... More

Maru Sushi is fantastic, high quality food. They are pricey but for a nice quiet meal out, without the kiddos, it's a great place to go. The food was delicious and the selection was just right. It's small inside but worth going to.

I found myself in the Valencia area and after some disparaging dining experience, we found this EXCELLENT Japanese restaurant with some French-inspired dishes. After that we ate there lunch and dinner. I cannot say enough great things about it. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. They have a superb a la carte sushi list and all was impeccable... More
