After years and years of having Spiro indulge us with his secret receipes. I'm profoundly sad to see that COUNTRY INN will be closing for a year and like a Phoenix will arise anew!!!! A new bird with a heart of great food, returning owners, loyal patrons and hopefully, chef, cooks and employees!!! NEVER to die but with rebirth in the... More

Stopped at the Country Inn recently for breakfast before heading to Great America. Picked the place based on the Trip Advisor reviews, and as one reviewer noted, it is easy to miss. And if you want to eat there, you had better get in your car and drive there now! Signs on the door and inside the restaurant stated the... More

We stumbled across this cafe while in town for a long weekend and stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Obviously this a place that the locals go as many customers were greeted by name when they entered. We were immediately seated and given menus. Our drink order was taken shortly thereafter. I had one of the combinations which... More

Wonderful food at this restaurant. Huge servings, excellent service even though it was packed. I had a huge egg white mushroom and spinach omelet. It came with two melt in your mouth Swedish pancakes and topped with fruit studded butter. I substituted fruit for the hash browns and enjoyed my breakfast very much. Hubby got his favorite breakfast, one hamburger... More

I truly enjoyed my corned beef hash eggs benedict. Went Sunday morning and the wait was just a few minutes.

You're not going to find this place by accident. It's not part of a big chain but a small, local one. This particular Country Inn Cafe is in a half-dead strip mall at the intersection of Scott and El Camino. You can only tell it's there by the large number of cars (and many tow trucks) parked outside. The Country... More

Restaurant owners please note: floor in ladies room is gross--sticky and obviously not given anything more than a superficial mopping in a long time. Now for the reason that most people go to a restaurant...My family met up here for a Sunday morning breakfast. On the plus side: the Swedish pancakes really are delicious. Next time, I'd order them, along... More

The attentive, friendly staff keeps your coffee and water filled without fuss. You can almost immediately catch their eye when you need something. (Best in the mornings and early afternoons - after dinner everyone's tired.) The food is nicely varied and served exactly as asked for. Breakfast scrambles are filling and tasty, and the Swedish pancakes (with flavored butter) are... More

Had breakfast hear with family. I had a Denver Omelet and it was wonderful. Very fluffy and good size. There is nothing fancy about the restaurant, but as for as traditional breakfast restaurants go, this one had great tasting food. .

Went to the Country Inn for breakfast meeting. Had great service and was seated by friendly waitress. Food was served hot and tasty. Would come back and refer others to this place. Even got to meet the owner as I paid.. Very nice people who take care of the customers!
